Video Game Trivia Help

I'm calling out to my fellow Escapists for assistance. Every year I've been running a video game themed Jeopardy contest for a small convention I work at. Since I've done this a few times before, I'm having trouble coming up with good categories for questions (since I'm doing 2 rounds of Jeopardy, I need 14 categories each time). Ones I have for this year include:

Man's Best Friend (on dogs in video games)
Video game families (I give out first names and they have to give the last name)
Potent quotables (on quotes)
Only in Japan (famous games that never made it outside Japan)
As 2 categories- Pirates and Ninjas (yes its cheesy, but I'm running out of ideas)

So I could use a few suggestions for other categories. Feel free to include some questions, though its easier to come up with questions once I have the category. I could also use good multiple choice trivia questions for a pre-quiz (which I use to select contestants).
