Yeah, I get pissed off when I lose/die. But it's only minor unless I get beaten by a 5 year old, dumb luck or a blatant cheater. Or lag. It's the cause of about 65% of my deaths in Team Fortress 2.

Once, after I got sniped by someone all the way on the other side of the map, I hit my computer monitor. It screwed up the colours, but, then, I hit it again, and it was fine.

Yes there is relation.....therefore according to the liberal media ITS EVIL! ZOMG!!!
Im not trying to say its evil. People get angry at the most minor things in the world. Doesnt mean they are gonna go out and kill somebody.

I actually know a few people who use video games as a way to vent. If they are pissed off about something else a few hours making peoples heads explode on gears of war can be a way to make things better.

I end up shouting at the TV. Then I'm in a miserable mood till I take my mind off it. I only get angry at multiplayer games where my team is absolute BOLLOCKS. Not if I keep on dying, not if I lose, just when my team is shit and sits around doing nothing.

Pisses me off to shit.

I don't get mad at games too easily, but I will get my urine boiling in my bladder when I get killed 10 times, by the same guy, at the same place, at the same time.

Raging at games is why I stopped playing competitive online FPS games. I don't need that irritation in my life.

I get mad a lot, I'll admit.
Accepting the guy who killed me is better than me is illogical, shouting at the TV and hitting things makes much more sense.

You'll be glad to hear I don't use a mic when I'm online. The cat's the only one who has to suffer my yelling and I think even she's got used to it now.

Noone has mentioned the Angry Video Game Nerd yet?
AVGN is angry because games arent very good... and he is a fictional character.
The best games can make people angry. Usually in multiplayer... when that guy kills you in a clearly impossible way.

I know, but when I think of being mad at a game, AVGN is the first thing I think of.

I get angry at games. But this is why I play them. I love being totally enraged at something and not just annoyed at things I can do nothing about like in real life.

Part of why I record them, I didn't really even just start talking to the game until I started recording (is that weird?).

I really do have temper fits when I know a characters a complete overpowered cheap bastard/*****.

Currently dealing with Mildred from Arcana Heart is pissing me off.

I get angry when I'm going for an achievement or fighting a boss and I then die when as I almost completed it.

The only time I recently raged was recently in Halo Reach. I was going for the "if they came to hear me beg" achievement. You get it at the start of the final mission, your on a cliff, an elite is below, you have to sprint, jump, and assassinate him.

Countless times I tried, and countless times I swore.

Sometimes on CoD4 when I die in a very stupid way, or with grenade spamming I let a big "fuck" (the equivalent in my language, I mean) come out of my mouth followed by two middle fingers at the screen.

I'll get angry about something, but I don't lash out at anyone or anything. I just stop trying and have some fun. If I can't have fun, I stop playing that game for awhile.

It's just a game, after all.

Hmm... is there anything in particular that pisses everybody off repeatedly and really is just part of the game rather than a skilled or lucky opponent?

For me it'd be commando on MW2... made me stop playing the game entirely.

I very rarely get angry at video games and usually when i do its not because i got beaten or something like that. Its usually with games that have poor controls and take just a few seconds too long to react to everything. Hate that! =/

I find that it's not the game that causes anger, it's the people you're playing with online.

I will usually shut the game off and have a breather if the game defeats me too often. That, or dropkick the game into the nearest furnace. The latter is getting expensive and is very difficult with downloadable games.
