Videocard help

I'm thinking of buying a new video card for my christmas money and i realy don't know much about them, so my request is simple: What kind of video card would you recommend ranging in about 100$???

it has 2gb ram, 3.2 ghz, windows xp, and the system model is GF7100/7050PVT-M3

get an nvidia card, ati cards still have too many hang ups and issues after all this time. all the games that i hear of having an issue with a particular brand of card all turn out to be ati cards
