It's a pathetic cop-out excuse, appealing to the kind of hysteria that fueled the Mass Effect debate. Oh noes, I have sociopathic tendencies and hold up banks. Must be all those GTA games I played. Oh noes, I stole tons of money from my college. Must be that Night Elf Rogue I played on WoW with its sinister subliminal messaging. Oh noes, I killed someone. Must be evil video games poisoning my mind; blame them, not me. Blame everything else, but not me.

Why won't people just admit that they are responsible for their actions?

Come on, that BS how many people immediately blame their addiction? He's going to jail, no way of stopping that.

Oh joy, more scapegoating.

This guy is a moron. What tickles me is that he committed a so mom and dad wouldn't know he was buying games.

Which leads me to an even more hilarious question. Why would you trust an organization's money to someone who doesn't have full control of their own?

You're addicted to common sense? Oh yeah, I heard that's a hard drug that makes people take responsibility for their actions and not blame their problems on something else.

Great; another crime that's used games as a scapegoat.
*sigh*
Can't say I'm that surprised, really. It happens too often...

First murder, now blue-collar crimes? Jesus Christ what next?

Well, hookers are getting more expensive... I vote that he was on that boat.

If not that, then a replica of World 2-2 of Super Mario Bros. I bet you could sink twelve-grand into that deal.

I'm sorry but this has to be said. He didn't embezzle due to a video game addiction he embezzled money because he's $*#&ing stupid and probably wanted the money for drugs or alcohol or to just avoid student loans. If he was smart he should have blamed it on rising tuition prices at least that way he'd get some sympathy.
