I am suffering from video game overload.

Assassins Creed 2
MW2
Assassins Creed: Bloodlines
Brutal Legend
Uncharted 2
Left 4 Dead 2
Mass Effect
Dragon Age: Origins
Bioshock

These are all games I need to get/play/beat. And there are only more games on the horizon.

Final Fantasy XIII
M.A.G.
God of War III
White Knight Chronicles
Bayonetta
Bioshock 2
Dante's Inferno
Mass Effect 2

I think... I think... I need to quit school.

I kid, but what am I to do?!? Anyone else feeling anxious about all these games?

Just take your time and enjoy them. They're gonna be around for a long time, so you'll have plenty of time to buy them and play them. I have noticed there are a lot of cool games out, but I'm more selective than you. I'm especially looking forward to Bioshock 2, and God of War 3 looks awesome, but apart from that, I'm not too concerned with the others.

If you're at school, you've got holiday coming up. Just sit down over 5 days or so and wipe the SP games out.

Unless you have exams, in which case it's study, study, study til the exams, then gaming binge after.

Well, I have a slightly different school schedule than most. I go to college and pretty much go year around. I will have the week of Christmas off up until the Monday after New Years. God I need to focus on school more... it's an addiction! lol

Definitely looking forward to FF13 and BioShock 2, though I'm not getting hyped to much about either.

I feel for you man i still have a massive backlog of games I want to get through. Your break should long enough to at least clear BioShock and Uncharted.

I couldn't list all of the games I would like to play through. I could, but I could also probably play one or two of those games in the time it would take to list them.

But more games will appear and jump on us unsuspecting gamers until we have no free time left to do things we enjoy...

Easy solution here. Simply deprive yourself of money for games with other things.

When you have little money you realise how insignificant release dates actually are, you can pick up those games at any time and complete them one by one at your leisure, you will probably save money in the long run by not paying day-one prices either.

This is exactly why I don't have a PS3. Too many good games coming out. I already have unfinished business with:

Brutal Legend
Saw: The Video Game
Borderlands
Dragon Age: Origins
Assassin's Creed II
Left 4 Dead 2

and am eagerly awaiting:

The Saboteur
Mass Effect 2
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Alan Wake
Crackdown 2
Bioshock 2
Dead Rising 2

So I just cannot justify adding:

Uncharted 2
Demon's Souls
Heavy Rain

to my list... :)

Quite the paradox you have there =D. Really though, how long does it take a person to finish a game - even if you only have a couple hours to play each day, it wouldn't take more than a couple weeks (unless of course its an RPG or a game with excellent multiplayer, at which point it becomes your decision whether or not to continue playing that game, or moving on to the next). Second, the stream of really good releases will probably slow down after the beginning of next year, so therefore one will have time to play through the titles they want. Then again, that's coming from a person who is considerably more selective about the games he plays as opposed to people like the OP.
