You're right, his strategy doesn't have anything to do with games/gaming. Essentially, he's just formulating his approach to exercise/diet in video game terms. Too bad, it sounded like a decent approach otherwise. His plan is apparently to go to the Y a lot and get a fitness coach, in addition to eating sensibly. I lost 24kg/50-ish pounds by just not eating sweets and not drinking soft drinks. Did not change a single thing about the rest of my diet, or life for that matter. Though i really should do that, for other reasons.
