Yeah, U. Rugal and S. Akuma. I enjoy single player in fighters from time to time and ending up fighting them seemed like too much of a punishment for actually doing well against the AI. lol Beating them with some characters was just a nightmare. Yeah... I am not really excited about Viewtiful Joe. I get that its a good character, but I would have less of a problem with it if they remake him to be of equal size with the other character.StriderShinryu said:

Well, I figured Viewtiful Joe was going to be in it, as it has "Viewtiful" in the combo text on the sides, so he was a natural fit, but my real question is...
When and how are they going to officially announce Spidey? Everyone knows he's going to be in it, but what nobody knows is which spidey will it be? With Marvel right now pushing all sorts of Spideymen, are we going to see Traditional Spidey? Ultimate Spidey? Noir Spidey? Secret Wars Spidey?

Why the hell haven't they added Nemesis into any of the MvC games yet? or The Punisher, for that matter? Sure, not ultimate powerhouses of powerful power like Dante or The Hulk, but they'd be fun as hell to play nonetheless.
He's not going to be in it. The rights for Spider-Man are still owned by Sony. They're not going to allow Spidey in a game that's going to be on a Microsoft console that isn't solely a Spider-Man game. The most we can hope for is him being a PS3 console exclusive character but that's incredibly unlikely.Johnnyallstar said:

If you notice I corrected my post. Sure, they'll allow him in a Spider-Man game but an appearance such as this I consider highly unlikely. When was this purchase? Because the Marvel Alliances games that came out had Spidey in it, and it wasn't a Sony exclusive game, and he wasn't a Sony exclusive character. I did a quick google search, and I'm sorry, but I can't find any source stating that Sony bought all rights to Spider-man anywhere. I'll apologize if you show me where I can find it. Another two fighters have been announced for MvC 3: one quite familiar, and one a little bit more obscure.
Capcom has filled another two spots in Marvel vs. Capcom 3's [http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-vs-Capcom-Worlds-Playstation-3/dp/B003IEBO9Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1282151948&sr=8-1] thirty-strong roster. On the Capcom side is Viewtiful Joe, who most recently appeared in the Wii exclusive fighter Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars, while on the Marvel side is Dormammu, a demonic entity made of energy who is making his videogame debut.
If you've been following MvC 3's development, you'll know it was just a matter of time before Viewtiful Joe was announced, as his very distinctive silhouette could clearly be made out in trailers announcing previous characters. Dormammu, on the other hand, probably comes as more of a surprise, as he's not the best-known Marvel character around. He's not really any more obscure than fellow Doctor Strange villain and series regular Shuma-Gorath though, and it'll be interesting to see how Capcom translates his terrible demonic powers into a 2D fighting game.
This announcement takes the total number of playable characters up to 18, meaning that that there are around 12 left to uncover. There are literally dozens of characters from previous MvC games to choose from, but there are also loads of new characters that could make an appearance. How does El Fuerte versus Doctor Doom sound, or maybe Doctor Octopus versus Dante?
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is scheduled for release in the first half of next year.

At the end of the trailer(3:13), that is clearly Dormammu. I recognized him from the 1990's animated Spiderman T.V. show. They covered a lot of stuff in that show.
I actually didn't know Viewtiful Joe would be involved though. D'oh.
