You take that back right now!

He's in Saving Private Ryan (Caparzo).
The Iron Giant (The Giant).

They're both freaking great films.

Saving Private Ryan and Iron Giant were the only ones I've seen where I didn't go 'Why did I pay money to see this crap?'
I haven't seen Pitch Black, though I've heard decent things.

I liked xXx! It was stupid, it was childish and it was a blatant case of "let's try to Americanize James Bond... BADLY!", but it was also fun and, unlike so many other films, makes sense from beginning to end!

The Fast and the Furious was also good, but that's because I like chavvy car-porn.

As well as the aforementioned, and against popular opinion, I really liked Chronicles of Riddick too. Sure, it was episodic and sprawling but the design, direction and pace were superb. I don't understand why people have taken against it so badly.

I actually liked Chronichles of Riddick, and I am looking forward to the third one. I liked Babylon A.D. as well, pp to a point. A shame they ran out of money towards the end; the ending of the movie was a true let down.

Fourth one, technically. There's an animated one too, I forget its name, that goes between the two live action ones.

The pacifier! (just kidding)

He hasn't been in many good movies...

But he has been in LOTS OF AWESOME MOVIES!

Movies don't have to be good to be awesome. XXX, The fast and the furious, chronicles of riddick.

I stand corrected, fourth one it is.

Saving Private Ryan, The Iron Giant, Boiler Room, Pitch Black, The Fast and the Furious.

And I really have a guilty pleasure in Riddick, as well as the last Fast and Furious movie. They're not good, but Vin is awesome in them.

He's also my favourite videogame actor (both the Riddick games rock, and Wheelman is fun -- a perfect B movie experience translated to game).

I'm going to repeat what most of the others have already said, and mention Pitch Black and The Iron Giant (god I love that robot).

I also enjoy xXx, because it's a very good example of how fast-paced action flick should be done: funny main character, simplish plot with no pretense of being anything else than an action move plot, and real stunts. The fact that it used proper stunts and not clumsy CGI raised it above mediocracy in its time (something the sequel ditched straight away).

Iron Giant
Saving Private Ryan
Pitch Black

As for everything else well, I dunno, I kind of like him for the sheer fun of him being that impossibly overdone badass of the film industry. Yeah they are dumb (the pacifier was dreadful though) but hey, if I wanted an action hero to fit that niche we always have Vin.
