I've played it a bit. The graphics are certainly a step up from other MMORPGs and the combat feels much more active than "stand here and take turns hitting each other". Being able to pick things up and throw them is interesting, but I find that I don't use it much because running up and stabbing away is so much simpler. The missions are all instanced with towns as a central hub, so it doesn't have the same feel as WoW for example with its massive open world. I'm not sure if it's worse, exactly, but it just feels small. Bonus objectives lend some replayability to missions which is a good thing because you'll be replaying them a lot anyway.
It has a linear storyline that's decent but not spectacular so far. I'm still in the beginning area so maybe it gets epic later, though. From what I've put together about the background I think it shows promise, and they've hinted about some plot to destroy humanity.
I'm still playing it after a couple days, so it's at least worth a look. It is free, after all.
