I've noticed a few threads on this crippling condition that I, and a few more of you, suffer from. However, I don't recall seeing any solutions on how to combat it. Well, not that I've noticed anyway.

I love FPS's but after 10 minutes I have a hideous headache and feel increadibly nauseas. Even after I've stopped playing/watching I'm ill for a good hour afterwards. Thing is, I just adore watching people play even though I'm too gimped to actually play myself.

Tell me forum, anyone out there have any advice instead of just avoiding them?

Thanks for the link but after an initial look on the net they don't really seem to help with this and some people are saying it makes the condition worse.

I don't remember but some game had a dot somewhere near the center of the screen constantly, apparently that reference point is enough to avoid motion sickness, tho I can't really tell how that would be different to just the crosshairs.

But a buddy of mine tells me he has a sticker that he puts on his screen if hes feeling dizzy and it's suppose to help, don't know worth a shot I guess, maybe it's more the thought of it helping...

So far on list of things to try:

Marijuana
Stickers
Medicine Man
Increase Field of View

Right, do I do one at a time or should I try all at once? Hehe, I'm sure my man would think I'd lost it if he came in to see all that.

Well that would provide quite the trip.

Buddy is nagging me to add more, apparently the sticker should be very noticeable, preferably something shinny... Edward the sparkly vampire comes to mind, and you should focus on it specifically every couple of minutes.
