I just referenced Zombieland... and got to thinking about practical applications. And then, after I realized I couldn't come up with any, I thought: "Videogame Survival Guide". In the vein of Zombieland, I want to know what rules you guys here on The Escapist have to survive in videogameland.

Rule #1.) If you're playing an action game or a horror game, or any game except puzzle games, MAKE SURE THE BADDIES ARE DEAD.
Reasoning behind this: If you don't, and you get in a heated battle while a wounded enemy is stalking you, you'll be focused on what's ahead, rather than what's behind.
