Virtualbox or boot camp?

I'm currently running an intel mac with mac OS X installed, and I recently obtained a copy of windows vista ultimate. My question is, should I run it as a virtual machine with virtualbox, or should I use boot camp to make a new OS entirely?

EDIT: Ok, new issue, Everything I"m reading is telling me to back up my mac before I use Bootcamp, yet I don't have an external hard drive, what should I do?

Boot Camp. I don't have a lot of experience with VirtualBox, but I can only assume that it will slow things down for the simple reason that it's also running OS X at the same time.

Hmm. Alrighty, BootCamp it is. I got impatient and peeked at the hardware requirements for Vista, and, whew. =P
