My computer crashed because of a virus and when i reinstalled windows and checked out the info it came from a public computer that anyone can access. So i was wondering who the heck invented the computer virus( no doubt it was the antivirus companies). Is there a legal way to form a street team of virus code busters? (find and stop the virus programmers)

Virus originally started as ways to test the security and stability of closed systems, many even made by the company being targeted to fix errors. In this day and age they are created by mischievous persons unknown who get off by making viruses... annoying people they are. Can't rule out a anti-virus company making some virus, but there are more then enough 'freelances' out there to keep us all busy regardless.

As for teams to hunt down virus makers? It is already illegal to make a virus and release it onto the world. If the law can't hunt down a virus producer then how the hell would a citizen with as much computer knowledge as you have?

A friend of mine tried to pirate Microsoft Word (and ironically, the reason WHY I don't pirate is because of what happens -.-) on my laptop, got a virus, and I lost everything.

Pff, well regardless the common programmers are the stereotype, the 20-35 year old person who lives for their computer.
