So I was wondering how was everyones vision on the Escapist. Mine is fairly good; I have never needed glasses.

Everything.

Used to be just for certain things like distance, I never wore them though, now I must wear at all times so that I may have slim chance of losing them in years to come.

My optometrists said that that doesn't affect eyesight, just a fallacy parents made up to stop kids from playing video games.

I wear contacts but I've recently being finding out that my prescription is getting worse. I'm going to have to go back to the opticians soon and get a new one.

I had 20/20 when I was 5 or so. I'm not sure what happened; perhaps it was just growing up, or maybe that horrid bike accident that did it; but my vision disintegrated very quickly. Nowadays, I can't see details more than about two inches away, everything looks like a swirling black hole of paint without correction lenses, and my vision is even getting worse with every passing day.

I'm incredibly thankful that I've got insurance coverage for contact lenses, and a future discount on a laser eye surgery. I would consider myself legally blind without vision correction.

I never checked for specifics, but it's good enough to see without glasses. Hopefully, it'll stay that way since I have horribly sensitive eyes, and there's no way I'd be able to wear contacts or get surgery.
