Hello Escapists!
I recently came across a Vlog channel on Youtube. I won't tell you who it is, but I'm concerned with the way "Vloggers" are producing videos. I only watched the 4 latest videos and already knew tons of things about him, for example if he lives alone, how his house looks like and where it is located (due to a real mail adress for letters) and a view of his garden.
I like watching Vlogs of certain people, but their way of making videos may enable burglars or thiefs to break into their homes. All they have to do is watch and analyse those videos, they basically get a blueprint of the house and garden and constant updates, if someone is staying with the Vlogger for a longer period of time (girl/boyfriend, dogs/cats) and when the house will be empty (Vlogger announces trip to E3 with exact date). Things get worse when Facebook and Twitter is also constantly updated with information and pictures, obviously.
What do you think about Vlogging? Am I exaggerating?
