Who is the worst, and who is the best? And is it important to you for a game to have good voice acting?

For worst i'd say Mark Meer, and for best i'd say Jennifer Hale, the woman's a genius.

i really liked seth green's voice acting in Mass Effect.

Best voice acting in my opinion has got to have been Liam Neeson and Malcolm McDowell in Fallout 3, they both had their good and evil feeling to their voices.

Worst voice acting.... well thats got to be any characters from the original Resident Evil, cringeworthy gaming at its best!

Hmmm..... for best I'm gonna run with Kiefer Sutherland in CoD 5, it was a terrible game but his voice fits the part well (especialy since i'm a large 24 fan lol) and realy drew me in to the game.

As for worst..... not sure, quite a few noteworthy voice actors who should never work again out there lol =P

Best voice I'll go with Patrick Stewart in Oblivion, Liam Neeson in Fallout 3 and Mike Shapiro for Barney/G-man/final boss of half life 1 in the Half Life series.

Worst: Most voice acting done in the Resident Evil games.

And so you should facepalm for that voice is truly amazing. However despite his amazing gravelly Snake tones, I don't know about his versatility, which is the mark of a good voice actor. Phil La Marr is rather awesome, not only voicing vamp, but also voicing parts in Futurama, and a host of other games and cartoons that I can't recall right now. Also Mark Hamill, voice of the Joker for many years, and also Wolverine in the last game about him. He is rather good too.

As for worst, I don't know, that would mean me looking up bad voice actors on the internet and if they're bad, why would I want to know more about them?
