I dunno whether it's a general or just my problem, but it has began to really frustrate me (especially because my laptop's volume controls are not working...).
I always noticed that the Escapist videos I watch (all of which I *love*) tend to be out of synch, audio wise. I mean Zero Punctuation's theme song being so loud I reduce volume to 20% but then to 80% so I can understand Yahtzee. And then switching to 100% so I can hear Graham and Stark in Unskippable. Apocalypse Lane seems to be alright, both theme song and voice acting wise, but I assume the lower volume for some of the characters is the way the creators do it back home. There Will be Brawl was sometimes too loud and sometimes too quiet, therefore I had to constantly keep watch of the volume meter during one episode...
I know it sounds like a big rant or complaint, but I was wondering whether it's just me or what? Is there anything which can be done to balance clip audio?
I know some and even most of the creators work from home and not from within studios. But I'm not a natural english speaker and sometimes have troubles understanding american accent when it's too fast or too quiet (and no I'm not asking for subtitles).
thanks, and keep the good job!
