Yeah I am going to have to call shenanigans on that one. Just sorta smacks of cheating.
We can't prove it though, so no point in whining about it.
But something tells me that if someone cheats on this, then they missed the point of the competition.

I really hope this website wins as it is the only gaming website i have come across where mature debates can take place and every thread doesn't result in cheap insults. South park and the escapist aren't in the same catagory, not sure why you'd think they were, so you can vote for both in their respective catagories.

This website certainly does deserve it...Has anyone else considered the possibility that Cnet bribed the Webbys to make this sudden jump in votes for Gamespot? I mean, ever since their firing of Jeff Gerstmann, I haven't trusted that media conglomerate.

I voted awhile back, although I must say, I like Gamespot's badge system for reviews. Little icons that tell you the ups and downs. But now they're just far too overused and the reviews themselves are often rubbish. The only reviews I trust now are actually X-Play's reviews. Which came out of nowhere to get my respect. Specifically, "Sessler's Soapbox" gave me huge respect for the guy. Along with his honest review that gave RE5 a 3/5.

I don't know if we have much of a chance, while skimming over gamespot (http://au.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26855474&page=312), it seems they have a 314 page thread with every post saying I voted, while we have a 1 page thread with half the posts being witty escapades(not quite sure if this is a word but spell-checker didn't pick it up).
