For casual VPNs I occasionally use the free program Hamachi [https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/]. Its quick and easy to use and I can break the connections or add more machines in easily. It also spoofs a LAN between the machines so I can add friends into it and play games over lan with them.Lim3 said:Hi escapists,
Do you use one? If you do, is it worth it? Do you use a free one or pay for one? Feel free to post your opinions in general.
Pretty much entirely this.Scorched_Cascade said:For casual VPNs I occasionally use the free program Hamachi [https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/]. Cons: The network security is only as good as the password you set
Oh, just general web activity. Bypass area constrictions, if a secure VPN it means more security when internet banking and other sensitive on-line stuff. Privacy also.starfox444 said:Well...What are you going to use it for?
