Once when I was playing Pokemon : I had a LVL 2 Pidgey in the Gym nearby where you find them at the start. After getting him down to his last Pokemon I accidentaly summoned the Pidgey, I sighed, I looked back at the screen and my Pidgey hadn't taken any damage.
I ended up quick-attack spamming the Digtrio until it died.

After looking at a guide, it said "Flying-type Pokemon can't be damaged by Ground-Moves"

Then I thought to myself : "..I'm extremely thick.."

Anyone remember the dragon near Andrastes tomb in Dragon Age: Origins? Some say its an insanely hard battle, well I dont really think so. For some reason the dragon got stuck in a pillar and couldnt move, but it could still attack if I got close. So I just pulled my melee characters away from it and blasted it with arrows and magic from a distance. Seemed pretty easy to me
When anything can seem pretty easy when it completely bugs out and the boss cant touch you.
Sure is. I guess I just got lucky that time. I had to
Fight Flemeth in her dragon form without any bugs
That one was pretty hard. Harder than the Archdemon

Not a boss event, but I had flown up to the top of the central tower in an ONS-Torlan match in Unreal Tournament 2004, parked my raptor, got out and started sniping people at a node. I had gone at this for a good 5 minutes before being noticed and I get a little bit of sprayed return fire, A blast from a shock rifle whizzed past me and I turned back to see it impact the Raptor and rock it back. Knowing it was going to fall I started running and was able to catch up to it in free fall, enter it and blast the hell out of the bastid that shot at me.

Can't remember any...wait, wait! Got an OLD one!

Baldur's Gate 2, there was an optional Dragon you could fight, Firkrag, who dropped the best sword in the game, The Holy Avenger. I couldn't beat him with my party, and I didn't want to leave the guy unharmed with me, no matter how underpowered I was. Was playing a mage, ran out of all spells other then "Flesh To Stone". That thing fails on most NORMAL guys...it worked, and the sword somehow was not destroyed like most items are.

Luckiest...roll...ever...

The problem with fighting flemeth is that you couldn't bring Morrigan along. She was my main dps character...

Mine too, so you had to bring that other mage. What is her name again. I forgot, but the old chik you pick up at the mage tower. Dammit, I cant use a healer in a battle like that, I need a heavy hitter

Thats incredible.

Oh, I do have one, fairly recent. It happened in New Vegas, I had just busted into the Prison place, hoping to get some early level explosives, and too get a boat load of experience. Let it be said that I got my ass kicked. I ran outside the main building, hoping to lick my wounds, when the ganger's busted out behind me. I ran up into one the prison towers, at around...half health. the only weapon I had on my that still had ammo aside from my crappy rifle was this 357 revolver. I managed too get a lucky shot on one guy, and picked up a few sticks of dynamite from his corpse. Unfortunately there were about 3 guys left, the main boss ganger and his two bodyguards. I chucked the TNT, and ducked behind the stairs...I saw a body fly past me, with the caption "Body guard chest crippled". the other two were reduced too gibs, but him...he was my favorite.

On one of my playthroughs of Alpha Protocol, I was playing as a recruit on Hard difficulty, and I specialized in SMGs, martial arts, and stealth as my main methods of taking people down. The boss fight that I had the most trouble with was on the Russian yacht (seriously, I lost count of how many times I died during the fight, equally blaming my specialization in SMGs and the fact that the fucking boat was constantly rocking, meaning bullets kept hitting me even though I was in cover).

Eventually, after taking out the boss' helpers, I had whittled the boss down to about a quarter of health, and I ran out of first aid kits. Cue me triggering Bullet Storm (infinite ammo mode for SMGs) and pretty much just pulling a Leeroy Jenkins. I was completely surprised to see that actually work.

Mine is facing Jormungandr in Magicka. Giant snake, holds its head off the ground so you can't hit it until it's about to attack. I accidentally cast Grease on the ground in front of it, then set it on fire. It then proceeded to take off 7/8ths of its health bar by DIPPING ITS HEAD IN THE GREASE FIRE. Do that once more, and it's done.
Apparently there's a sword that kills it in one hit. I killed it by casting a shield before it hit. He would whack himself on the shield, and burrow away. Rinse, repeat, dead.

Mine is for the same game. I forget which level, but you're travelling through some swamps and you go into a church. Suddenly 3 wizards come out and each summon a dozen zombies each. After about 10 tries of me getting poisoned and killed in a matter of moments somehow I blew something up and they all died suddenly. Not a clue how that happened.

Well, Fuck.

(All was in Hard mode, a few in Nightmare) I've killed the "High Dragon" from Andraste's Tomb at least 5 times in all my playthroughs, and not once I've though "Oh shit, I need to rearange all my tactics, and micro-manage everyone!", either had to repeat it twice because my tank died or something. It's not easy, but it only requires to have a few Health Pots, Lyrium Pots and not setting your healer to, say, BE RIGHT BESIDE THE FUCKING DRAGON. Once I made 60~ of every pot and I barely used 10 (7 were Lyrium since Wynne kept using them like a whore, and she wasn't even healing). Flemmeth wasn't hard either, of course, I always try to kill it when I have the Dragon Armor, rendering her fire useless, although, there is a bug with her, that I used once.

You get to your archer, put on the Light Drake Armor, make him stand near the entrance, and shoot. Flemmeth is stuck to her position, and the only thing she can do is Fire Spit, which has no Knockback. A few health pots later, she ded.

OT: I'll have to say, Prototype, the final boss boarding the ship. You heal 100%, running like an idiot, then you just jump on the main tower, and hide behind it. Military can't see you, so you can wear your disguise, and Supreme Hybrid ************ Over Powered Big Ass Long Name Hunter can't hit you. Military take 70% of its HP down, then the timer starts. You go down, dodge once, use devastator, repeat, and he ded.

I remember that one. It was sorta fitting for this topic. My character was an archer. I pumped him full of fire resist, and stood at the perfect range, where it just shot fire attacks at me and then had a healer heal him from outside the blast radius.

It took forever, but was a very simple strategy.

Half an hour ago playing Golems of Angaarak for DA:O. Got to the room were you get attacked by six golems (two or three orange conning ones). My entire party died so I hid it a corner surrounded by glyphs spamming Inferno and Drain Health. I was surprised it worked considering I spent half my time on the fucking floor.

Did the entire fight without a healer. Man was that tough.

Probably the final "Boss" in Mass Effect 2. I remember playing it and shooting the "boss" with my Revenant Rifle.

Then, for the hell of it I got out the cane and fired at the "Boss"'s weak spot.

I won. and I was like "WTF.... that's it?!?"...."well that blows"
Not much different from being able to convince the final boss to shoot himself in the fucking face.
Which didn't actually serve a purpose, other than to further the development of your personal story, as the ensuing battle takes place either way; thereby rendering your entire remark pointless.
