OP I've understood nothing of what you just said Aero Kinder what? Is it all coffee or what? We have smarties that are pill shaped and come in a cylinder plastic wrapper. But that's like me asking do you guys have krispy cream, candy cigarettes, and Cadbury Eggs up there? We import some Japanese snacks and some are very strange.

But what the government here is doing is trying to make us more like Europe in every form even changing our money to look more like theirs. Why on Earth do we want to be like Europe? If everyplace was the same then the people who hate those places have no where else to go but the poles and lets face it that isn't viable.

In Massachusetts, we have Aero and Smarties, but I've never heard of Coffee Crisps. Kinder Surprise was also here until about 2 or so years ago, if that's worth anything.

I cam across this tidbit in an article a friend sent me trying to prove that Canadian culture is influencing and controlling America's in a reversal of conventional wisdom and fear, and that came up.

So I have to ask, is it true? Do you Americans not know the greatness that is Coffee Crisp, Aero and Smarties? I mean I know you guys have banned Kinder Surprise because reasons, but still, is it true?

I've seen Smartys around, as well as Areo, not sure about Coffee Crisp, I remember hearing of it as 'a thing we have' but don't remember seeing it. *shrugs*

as for Kinder Surprise, I heard the reason it was band was due to a choking hazard. Because, ya know, -.- stupid, lazy parents.

Before now I didn't even know that Coffee Crisp was exclusively a Canadian product. It's always been my favorite chocolate bar, you guys are missing out, especially on the ice cream flavor.

For those wondering about the difference between M&Ms and Canadian Smarties: I personally find that M&Ms taste more like plastic than chocolate, especially compared to Smarties. I find the colored flavoring much better tasting too. If you were to pour M&Ms and Smarties into a bowl, you could easily tell them apart since Smarties have more muted, almost pastel colors.

Smarties are awesome, I personally prefer them to M&Ms. I'm honestly surprised to hear that Americans can't even enjoy Kinder Eggs, those DELICIOUS combination of White and Brown chocolate that contain small toys are basically a nationally shared experience of all Canadian kids!

I hate to be an ass, but m&m's are not smarties, they're peanuts covered in layers of chocolate with sugar shells ( or whatever the new ones are, there are different ones i grant you. )

smarties are a regular elipsoid/oblate spheroid of solid chocolate, covered in an icing casing that dissolves on the tongue, a bit like unwrapping a present and there being chocolate inside.

generally chocolate peanuts are simply branded 'chocolate peanuts' here, available by the kilo but m&m's are also available for people that like posh sweets ( i don't eat any of these anymore, for the record )

And those alone are the specific reasons that Hershey is naturally superior to any other mass produced chocolate bar created elsewhere.

Hershey is real chocolate, all others are a pale imitation of Hershey. All of science knows this to be fact.

And of course this also doesn't take into account the inate superiority of Hershey chocolate syrup for the creation of chocolate milk or sundaes.
