considering she spent 2 years writing the last book, she was writing parts of the last book while still writing the others and she knew what was going to happen well b4 finishing her first book i too was disapointed ( i cant write what i was really thinking as i would most like at reported) in the last book and the ending. I know the book had very high expectations., but the last one was just not up to JK standard. it read like it have been rushed and there was not as much detail in the situations then in teh other books

the whole story had been working up to the main character killing this awakened being, and first of all they didn't do it, and secondly they then left with saying effectively: this has a conclusion somewhere, but fuck you. i've never seen anything as vague as they managed to make that ending in my life.

I disagree, yes they made it hard to figure out there point, but once you did it is pretty good. I like movies that make you think.Citrus Insanity said:

Doomsday Metropolis. It's a pretty obscure movie, so let me give you some background information. It's about this Thai-General-Wizard-Guy, who really wants to destroy Tokyo. It's never really explained WHY he wants to destroy Tokyo, we just know he wants to destroy Tokyo.
Anyway, last ten minutes of the movie, there's this girl who's been training all her life to defeat the Thai-General-Wizard-guy. She's never been mentioned before, but she's very important... And she's naked because that's completely necessary. Anyway, she knows all this magic, and martial arts, and she just knows so many ways to completely and ultimately destroy people.
She walks up to the guy and gives him a hug...
And he cries a single tear...
And that's the end of the movie...
All he needed was a hug...

Hey, it was a bit rushed, but overall that was an awesome ending to an awesome series. I think it would've been better stretched over two episodes, because then we could've gotten more out of "THE MOST EPIC BATTLE OF ALL TIME!!!" and the Nia/Simon thing, which was so sad and adorable and warm and fuzzy...giggyman said:

Halo 3: ODST. I just don't get it, what was the campaign even about? I played through the whole thing, and I honestly don't know what they accomplished in the end, I mean we a cool squid-thing...that has nothing to do with the game that's chronillogically after it. That's...helpfull?

Actually, also from Reservoir Dogs, what happened to Mr. Pink? You can hear in the background of the scene where Mr. White and Mr. Orange are talking at the end before the twist that he's having a shootout with the cops, but it's way too faint to hear whether he was killed, arrested, or pulled off another miracle escape.
