I've seen so many remixes/remasters/re-imaginings of games start out. Finish, not so many.

I'll take an interest in this when they have a fully playable version, until then its just a pipe dream

Agree. I used to follow a bunch of fan games, only to watch them slowly die(or stop updating, which is pretty much the same thing). One in particular was Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth. Same visual style as Fate of Atlantis, even got a playable demo.
And then it just stopped updating about 4 years ago. And it had been in development for a good 5 or so years before that.

It's one of many reasons I stop getting excited about things like this. When a project is close to completion, or actually done, that's when I start giving a shit anymore.

Well... it looks Star Wars-y, I'll give it that, but it doesn't look like KotOR.

Not every remake or re-imagining is good; they tried making Spyro look more like a realistic dragon and it didn't really work out for them (though that wasn't because of the designs so much as DotD was just not a good game). Also I agree, not diggin' the first-person-view thing.

That was my thought... they have seriously lost most of the Star Wars aesthetic in these pictures.
