Wow? 200 bucks for turning your Xbox 360 to a Wii? Not to even mention the add-initial price for the Xbox360 itself! You should just buy a Nintendo Wii and save yourselves hundreds of dollars in the process rather than adding this tacked-on piece of camel dung.

So, $200 in the US but how much are they gonna charge us Europeans for it?
My best bet, 40% extra just because we are Europeans (or alternatively, Australians!)
I am so not spending 300 Euros on this cheap piece of ridiculous sad excuse for a gaming peripheral.

The price entry level of the Kinect is an insult and the fact that Micro$oft is so arrogant that they are really trying to push this thing out of shelves just adds insult to injury.

It is obvious that MicroSoft (and SONY for the matter) are trying to tap into the Wii shovelware/wagglestick market but the fact that they would charge almost the price of the Wii ITSLEF for the perpheral is just a new low.

It's funny how Sony and MS have switched places, first Sony had a over-expensive product and MS looked cheaper but now MS has the over-priced product and Sony looks cheaper(It isn't by much but right now i bet Sony's sayng "Excellent")

I really hope that it turns out to be a very impressive and stable piece of technology which is also put to very impressive gameplay use in large variety of games. At that price point, nothing less will suffice.

It'll be interesting to see whether it can rise beyond shovelware and be implemented as a relevant feature in more major full retail games, while still keeping them accessible to everyone who doesn't upgrade to it. I'm guessing one of the groups are going to receive a rough deal though. At any rate, I'd hold on to my money until the initial selection of Kinect games had been reviewed, and the plans for implementation in future mainstream games made more specific. Same as I'll do with Playstation Move.

This is going to be a complete disaster without a 'must have' game at launch, and nothing I've seen so far indicates that. I love my 360, I've even got one of the new slims, but there's no way I'm plunking down any money on it until they've sold me on why I should want such a thing.

It's 200 dollars for Kinect AND a game. Kinect is $149.00.

$150 seems a bit steep for something that seems like an overpriced "improved" Eye toy (*NOW with a mic and voice recognition installed.)

Im not shelling out $200 of the few preciouse dollars i make yearly for this gimmick. I think that nintendo is going to have a huge leap of sony and micrsoft. This wii thing is just a way to trick the compotition into making a huge mistake while they are really working on a new console! Cunning bastards!

Yeah im not getting this.
