Wannabe Magic: TG Nerd with computer issues

As the title suggests, I'd like to be able to get into the game; I've tried it with a couple friends, and it seems like something I'd have a blast with. I'd like to get Magic: the Gathering - Duels of the Planeswlakers 2012 through steam, but I generally don't buy games I haven't tried myself. I downloaded the demo, without any problems or disconects, and was ready to play. But now whenever I try to, it just says "Magic_2012.exe has stopped working," Does the little error report, and apparently a program is keeping it from working.

Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, has anyone else figured out how to fix it?

Appearently its a known issue, the Steam forums are a bit swamped and keep waiting for a fix. So Im afraid i can't help you with this.

A little advice though. The DoP games have a somewhat lacking way of allowing you to build decks.
If you want to play with your friends, you might want to have a look at the Magic Workstation. Its a huge card database containing every card ever printed you can use to build your decks and play with your friends.
And its free, too!
