Weizoth stared at Carmen for several moments after she finished bowing. He returned the bow to her, breathed in deeply, and replied, "I can say the same...I learned much about both single combat and combating devils...this will be quite helpful when I return home...Those are hardly my forte..."

"I just- never mind." Gold muttered, sinking back into his chair. He glared at Weizoth for a moment, his eyes glowing red. He shook his head, the eyes subsided to a natural color, and Gold took a swig of water.

Carmen blinked a bit. [color=bb0066] "...Single combat actually is my forte... To think you more than kept up with me in that regard... Oh wait. Holy user. Never mind. Which brings me to my question from the fight... what are you exactly? A demon? A fallen angel? A spellsword? I... really can't understand." [/color]

Turning toward Gold, she noted the eye color change before turning back to Wei expectantly.

Weizoth reached into the folds of his armor and produced a brass medallion on the end of a length of chain. Painted on the medallion was a teardrop shape colored crimson, likely intending to represent a drop of blood. Crossing over the symbol were a pair of brass chains.

"I am a cleric of Afflux...as well as a Bone Knight of Karrnath..." Weizoth took in another breath before proceeding. "Single combat is not my forte...as my purpose in life is leading the undead legions of Karrnath against her enemies...I am, or perhaps the proper word would be 'was', human..." He didn't seem to take notice of Gold or what he was doing.

Carmen stared for a moment before nodding. [color=bb0066] "That makes a lot of sense now. You're one of the lucky few who can use both light and dark elements then. Very interesting. So, you're undead I presume. It's a good thing I didn't try to drain you then... Undead souls are barely satisfying.." [/color]

Weizoth took in another deep breath. "Not quite...though I may as well be...I share the strengths of the undead...but none of the weaknesses...such is necessary to keep Karrnath's enemies on their toes..." He gave Carmen a curious look, not that she could see it. Taking another breath, he asked, "You mentioned 'drain'...I've yet to meet a devil who drains the life from the living as undead do...then again, this is my first time actually speaking to a devil...they are usually more concerned with attempting to end my life on the few occasions I have run into them..."

Carmen giggled a small bit. [color=bb0066] "Admittedly, I'm a bit of an oddity because I've got an exceptionally draining ability. I'm able to suck the soul out of basically anything. And if we did meet outside these walls, odds are I'd have let you go... provided you didn't attack me first. And you said you didn't get much experience with demons? I suppose that makes sense as well." [/color]

"Yes...the majority of Karrnath's enemies are mortal...that does not mean I have not engaged with demons and devils and their ilk...and you know yourself I have ways of dealing with them when I have need of doing so..." Weizoth drew in another breath simply to chuckle, then yet another to speak. "You would seem quite the oddity indeed where I hail from...there, demons and devils rarely make their presence known to mortals aside from being forced to do so or intending to slay them..." Tiring of standing up, Weizoth strode over to a chair and sat down, the weight of his combined armor and bulk making whatever material the seat was made of creak and groan.

Carmen shuddered a bit, remembering Devil Blight. [color=bb0066] "Well, in all honesty, that's nearly opposite of my world. Demons love to make their presence known and screw with the humans in their realm. Very few humans actually can stop even the weakest of us. You'd do well in my world with your prowess." [/color]

She smirked a bit as Wei sat down. [color=bb0066] "That aside, wearing that armor's got to be a large burden on you. Must you always wear it?" [/color]

"As interesting an experience that might be...my loyalty is to Karrnath...I could not abandon it any more than I already have...returning there once I am done here is my top priority..." Weizoth replied. Shifting his weight slightly, his chair creaked once again. "This armor is very much an irremovable part of me now...In the process of becoming a Bone Knight, we are required to craft a suit of armor made from the bones of our most honored adversaries...It is then fused to our skin...In return for such sacrifice, it grants us strengths similar to undead...it is hardly an annoyance or burden, for it has removed the need to partake in activities it can get in the way of..."

Carmen nodded as she sat beside him. [color=bb0066] "Is that so? A shame. So your armor is actually your skin. ...That explains quite a bit actually. It's a bit of a shame because part of me wonders what face is under that helmet..." [/color]

Weizoth breathed in and let out a dry-sounding chuckle as the air slowly escaped his lungs. "It has been years since I first entered service with the Bone Knights...Even if removing my helmet were possible without killing me...A traditionally pleasant sight would most certainly not await you..."

Carmen simply smirked and nodded. [color=bb0066] "Then I suppose I'll keep that to my imagination then, hm? But remember, I'm a demon. I've seen horrible things before. Well, I'll speak to you another time, Sir Weizoth. Farewell." [/color]

She gave the knight a wave before heading off to her suite to sleep.

On the ground, Greed saw the Meta was about ti jump, and thus closed his eyes to protect them from harm. While his head was bored into the ground, this didn't seem to bother him much, although the blow did leave him with somewhat of a headache. Grabbing the Meta's right ankle, Greed flung him upwards, then slammed him into the ground.

The Meta used his arms to break his fall, then got up and away from Greed. He grabbed his brute-shot, then faded from sight.

Another person found themselves in a pitch dark room. "Well shoot, now what in the heck am I in?" as the room lighted up and the announced explained everything to the person, the person walked casually as the floor lit up. "Fighting arena? I hope bringing guns to this fist fight is alright"

Gold sat up from the chair, shuddering. He yawned, feeling tired and suffering from a pained back. shrugging, he walked into the equipment room, pulling on 2 pistol holsters and slipping two of his usual high caliber revolvers into the holsters, along with a rifle along his back. He wandered out into the Arena, and said "Requesting a cooperative battle experience. Anybody want to fight alongside me against a random threat?"

A new guy was transported into the arena, finding himself in the dark room. As the voice guided him, he simply followed the instructions and glided as the floor lit up with each step. [color=FF0000] "Damn it... How'd I end up here...?" [/color]

Carmen had floated casually into the lounge and sat herself on a chair, drinking as usual. Seeing Gold on the screen, she decided to wait a few moments before continuing to sit back and relax.

The Girl stepped into the lounge an looked around. "Well now, would you lookie here!" she said with a smile. "Well gosh this place is gotta be like fancier then a priest on Sunday" she said muttered to herself. she seemed to like the music that played in the background.

Carmen was in the lounge and cringed a bit subconsciously at the mention of a priest. She simply walked over to the bar before waving toward the girl. [color=bb0066] "Hello there..." [/color]

Soon enough, the man left his suite, which basically looked like his apartment before finding himself in the lounge. Seeing two girls, he shrugged before heading toward the arena.
