"Well, this is a arena. Fighting is pretty much to be expected. While you don't have to accept every challenge thrown at you, you're supposed to fight at least once a week, otherwise your privileges here will be taken away." Greed explained to the man, then walked behind the bar counter, fetching himself another rootbeer before walking back. Hardening the skin of his thumb, Greed pushed the cap off the bottle and took a swig and looked back to Aethion, the skin of his thumb returning to normal. "I'm a Homonculus, an artificial human, created via alchemy. And, no. Never heard of this fellow. Maybe he's a new Homonculus that's been made in the last hundred or so years that I've been away from Pops. Did he have a sign like this?" Greed asked, holding up his right hand, showing the Orouboros tattoo; a red winged snake, biting its own tail.

Carmen blinked blankly before taking another drink. [color=bb0066] "I simply realized something. Nothing you need to concern yourself with." [/color]

Rex rested his head on the counter. [color=000066] "You don't have to deal with her everyday. She's a freakin' slave driver. Never get a break." [/color]

Ness giggled a bit at Rex's comment. [color=666666] "Oooor I'm merely trying to make sure you get off your ass every once in a while, you lazy bum. And I let you roam around dimensions, we barely meet up anymore." [/color]

Rex groaned as Ness nodded back to Gumi. [color=666666] "Gumi. That's a nice name." [/color] Then the fedora girl tilted a bit and looked at the sniper in Gumi's lap. [color=666666] "My, my... That's quite the model you've got on you.... did you make it yourself?" [/color]

"No, he had nothing like that. He had eyes similar to yours though. And he could grow a single wing from his back at will."

"...Seems like a strange thing to do..." Jack said as he looked at Carmen still.

"Damn. I don't have time to play gladiator. What privileges?" the man asked Greed.

"Well, access to food 'n drink, for starters. Pretty sure they said the machines that return you to life wouldn't work for you anymore either." Greed answered the man, then paused for a moment. "That's a thing here. Machine that can bring you back to life when you die." Looking back to Aethio, Greed looked quizically for a moment. Ugh... If this is Envy he's talking about... "Well, maybe the mark was hidden then. Not all of us bear it as openly as I do. Pops and my sibblings are pretty damn secretive about what they're doing."

"He appears to be rather fond of you, while not nearly as fond of strangers. Odd. I would think you were his owner." Erica remarked, then went back to sit on the couch. "Indeed. The descendant is alive no longer, I'm sad to say, however. She passed away four years ago." Erica answered Drayven.

"Oh thank ya kindly Madam!" Gumi replied to Vanessa with a smile. "If only I had the skill to make one of these babies, I'd have one for every day of the week. So Nah I didn't, but the scope and small adjustments are done by your truly" Gumi explained to Vanessa.

"...What did that have to do with smacking yourself?" Jack asked Carmen.

"...Right." the man said as he finally stood up and looked around, thinking there may be someone better to talk to.

"He should, Achoo! Get off!" the kitten goes to sleep on his shoulder

Ness blinked as she sat down next to Gumi, nodding slightly. [color=666666] "Very nice. Would it be alright if I could hold it for a few moments? I'll let you see one of my rifles in exchange." [/color]

"Maybe. Do many of your kind have the ability to grow a wing as he did?"

Drayven glanced at Erica in surprise, then bowed his head slightly.
"Ah. I am sorry." He frowned, and then chuckled without much humour.
"Strange, that I should offer my condolences to another for the death of one who bore my name. Tell me, how did she die? If she was the head of Winterhold College, she must have lived to a good age. In fact, if she lived a full life, she must have been born not that long after my present time. Certainly within the same century."

"Um, no that's fine" Gumi replied, picking up the sniper rifle and holding it out ot Vanessa.

Greed shrugged slightly as the man walked off, then took another swig from rootbeer before answering Aethion. "Nah, just one would be able to do that. Envy. The little worm can change his appearance to be just about anything. There wouldn't really be any way of telling if it was him or not unless you somehow can detect souls."

Erica smiled slightly. "Indeed, that must be quite odd. She passed away peacefully and with dinigty. Those close to her, myself including were there with her in her final moments. As for her age... She lived up to the age of 397, I believe." Looking back to Clover, Erica looked suprised at how the kitten managed to sleep on his shoulder and not fall off. "Then get him off. By the look of it, it wouldn't happen for some time to come if you left it up to him."

Ness calmly let her belt glow and digistructed a white sniper rifle before handing it to Gumi in exchange as she took the black rifle from her and began to examine it, looking down the scope and such. [color=666666] "Man... this is really well done. The zoom's amazing on it, hell, I could learn from you!" [/color] She said, smiling a bit.

Ness' rifle would be a bit heavy, with a few glowing accents on it, the zoom was less deep as Gumi's, but it was obviously the gun could seriously back a punch.

"Ah. Well, if he was willing to tell us of his origin, then it does not seem likely that he would disguise himself."

To pursue the same now would be to invite death on my sons, my wife and unborn child as well. I am glad that you were there with my descendant when her time came. It sounds as though you cared for her."

"Eh. You never know But yeah, I'm just gonna assume it wasn't Envy until proven otherwise." Greed remarked, then looked up slightly. "By the way, I don't think I've ever introduced myself. Name's Greed."

"So I did." Erica answered with a solemn nod. "I considdered her family, in fact."
