"...Six? I've only really heard of 4 essential ones." Ness said, looking a little surprised. "So, there was Fire, you're Water, there should be Earth and Air.... So who are the other two? And what happened during your research to make you like this."
"Metal and Wood... It was... Um... Science stuff. Something having to do with splicing protons and new elements and other stuff. Apparently the elements made ideas come to life or something and stuff... It's really confusing okay"
Ness tilted her head. ...Well, he...she?... it may not be from my world, so rules may end up being a little different... "I see... many things might be better off not explained in detail, and this certainly seems like one of those things."
Ness looks around the bar for a bit. "...I'm sure about the lack of a pool. ...But a bowl might be around here if you look hard enough."
Suddenly a portal appears from thin air. Out steps Anastasia Romanvesky.
"Hey guys, Didnt mean to interrupt, but I just wanted you guys to know that we have opened a omnicross-dimensional Pub for any and all, you should come check it out when you have the time. First round is on us!"
She smiles and gives a wave.
"Again, didnt mean to interrupt. But I figured dimension hoping was your guy's thing. See you later"
With that she is gone.
Jade briefly looked up from his book when the girl stepped out of the portal, and then promptly left. "...Huh." he remarked before going back to his book.
In the darkness of the reception room, a new figure appeared. Once the lights flashed on, they covered their eyes, while it was revealed they were a woman with a slender frame, appearing to be in her early twenties. She had rather pale skin, violet eyes, with slitted pupils, and volumous, black, curly hair that reached down to her buttox. She wore a long, low cut, strapless black velvet dress, on which light was reflected in a shade of deep dark red. She also wore two detached, black gloves that reached to just below the shoulder, and were made of the same material as the dress, and a pair of black high heeled boots. On the outer side of either glove, were two crimson nodes, one on the back of the hand, the other below the shoulder. A crimson line connected the two nodes. She also had red lipstick, and a red tatoo of a winged serpent biting its own tail on her exposed sternum.
After following the intructions, and leaving her dorm, she made her way to the hallway, and looked around.
Shortly after, in another room, another figure was waking in the darkness. Pale yellow eyes flicked open in the murk, reflecting what little light there was like those of a cat. The shadow of a hulking, broad shouldered figure rose to a sitting position and reached across the bed, wrapping a thick billowing garment around itself and rising to it's feet, heading for the door.
Seeing nothing of note in the hallway, the woman made her way towards the lounge, where she briefly glanced over Ness and those talking with her, before her eyes drifted across the lounge, and eventually to the spectator stand overlooking the balcony. A bemused expression crept across her face as she scanned over the arena.
One of the doors in the dorm opened and the man stooped to pass through. He was a giant of a man, well over 7 feet tall and impossibly broad. Somewhat at odds with his extremely impressive physique was his surprisingly youthful face, which bore a look of easy confidence and a fierce intelligence that was made unsettling by his yellow eyes and angular, almost wolfish features. He was marked only by three long, clean scars that ran across one brow and down his cheek. He had a shoulder length mane of shaggy red hair and a short beard, and around his massive, otherwise bare shoulders was a huge, rough wolf pelt, with a ferocious, toothy head hanging down over his left shoulder. He quietly scanned around the empty hallways and sniffed the air, before turning towards the lobby and heading towards the others.
While looking over the arena, the woman heard the sound of footsteps, followed by the sound of the lounge door opening once more. Glancing over to the door, her look of bemusement turned into a look of disbelief upon seeing the figure that made his way into the lobby. Well, well, well... Now what have we here? Her expression of disbelief was short-lived, however, it quickly turning back to being more of a look of disdain.
The giant looked around as he strode into the lobby, once more stooping under the doorframe. His gaze settled on each one of the people inside, marking their location and appearance, then nodding his head in approval, curiosity aroused. "Huh. I've woken in some strange places after the Grand Annulus before, but off-world? That must be a first. Where am I?"
"I suppose you didn't hear the greeting upon entry?" The woman spoke, raising her voice slightly to make herself heard over others that spoke to one another in the lounge. While soft and pleasant, her voice was rather dark in tone. Turning away from the balcony, the woman turned towards the giant, and crossed her arms. "This is the, and I quote; "Evilington Interdimensional Arena"." While she didn't know what the giant reffered to with Grand Annulus, she didn't care enough to ask.
"Interdimensional? Hmm..." The warrior- for he was clearly that- frowned deeply and sniffed the air. Squinting suspiciously about he came further into the room. "No, I heard no greeting. I simply woke and found myself in that room. I suppose you are not a native?"
The woman shook her head in response to the warrior's question, locks of hair swaying back and forth as she did. "No. I was brought here just a few moments ago... Or, abducted, I should say." As he walked further into the lounge, the warrior, with his animalistic instincts, would feel there was something very wrong about the woman, as she eminated some inhuman pressense, although he couldn't tell what or why. "And it appears I'm not the only one who's been abducted... I don't like this, not in the slightest."
"So that's how it is, eh?" The man growled. "No way anyone could have got me out of The Fang without witchcraft. Whatever fool did this does not know what he's done." He glared around the room, looking for some sign of surveillance, wrinkling his nose in distaste. The woman did not give off an unpleasant aroma, but to him she smelled unclean. Abhorrent, in fact. Strange, as she was as fair as any woman he had seen. He recalled a time not so long ago when he might have sought to impress her with enthusiasm and smirked. "And who are you, maiden? No Fenrisian, that much is certain."
The woman raised an eyebrow at the mention of witchcraft, what she believed to be a supersticious claim furthering her believe the warrior was some barely civilised babarian. She didn't voice any such thoughts, however, instead smiling slightly. "I'm Solaris." She answered, in no hurry to reveal her true identity. Although a lie, the words rolled off her tongue fluently and naturally. "And. Who might you be?" She asked in turn, tilting her head slightly.
