The woman would see that the woman's eyes were shining blood-red instead of the icy blue that her irises were usually colored. [color=666666] "But I can tell you... that I snapped out of it once I realized everything that I had done was beginning to cloud my normal life..." [/color] She leaned back in her chair and looked up to the ceiling. [color=666666] "All I saw was red. The ground, the sky, even the people... All I saw was blood everywhere... to the point where I was simply drowning in it. It's odd that I didn't realize it sooner... but then again, I wasn't the way I was now. It wasn't something I could've helped." [/color]
She sighed and continued looking up, the ruby colored eyes seeming to look past the light and into the past. It would be near impossible to tell if what she was staring at was giving her a sense of nostalgia or regret.

Vera tilted her head in response, a small whirring coming from her joint moving. [color=00aa44] "Eh? Monsters?" [/color] The android scanned around the hallway and blinked blankly. [color=00aa44] "Unit hasn't encountered what you speak of in these hallways. Perhaps the section you reside in needs to be examined further." [/color] She said, the grip on her sword tightening up.
She sighed and continued looking up, the ruby colored eyes seeming to look past the light and into the past. It would be near impossible to tell if what she was staring at was giving her a sense of nostalgia or regret.

When Ness looked to Solaris, and Solaris took note of Ness' change in eye colour, she tilted her head slightly as she looked curiously. She listened on attentively as Ness spoke, various thoughts running through her head, few of which positive. "That... sounds terrible..." She spoke when Ness finished speaking, feigning being slightly frightened as she looked away from Ness. "I... I had no idea you been in such a dark place... It's frightening." After having said that, Solaris paused for a moment, glancing back to Ness. "And what happened to your eyes?"

[color=915f6d]"They're real, I swear! He was huuuge, and had these scary yellow eyes, sharp teeth, and the meanest look ever!"[/color] Selim exclaimed as he looked up to Vera as the two walked. [color=915f6d]"My dad says monsters don't exist, but I see them all the time."[/color] Looking back straight ahead, Selim hummed for a moment, before looking back up to Vera again. [/color] Ness said, scratching her back of her head as she looked toward Solaris, head now back to being level. She seemed to either ignore or not want to comment on the 'dark place' she had been in. [color=666666] "Maybe the reason I was seeing red to begin with was these eyes... Who knows? Odder things have happened to people I've seen." [/color]

"But, they weren't earlier, so this change is triggered by something." Solaris responded, looking back to Ness fully. "And given that bloodshed was the topic of conversation, that's what my guess is. Do... you feel any different?" She questioned, then paused and narrowed her eyes slightly. "A sense of... longing, maybe?"

"Right... It's just that seemed the most logical conclusion, and..." Solaris began, but then trailed off, blowing a small sigh, and shook her head. "Never mind... Sorry." You just keep telling yourself that, but you're not fooling anyone. Humans never learn.

Still recovering from the throw, Rex barely had time to bring up his arm to block the kunai. It made a thunk as it stuck into Rex's gauntlet. He sighed as he pulled the kunai out and approached Malcor as he struggled with the table.

Opening her eyes again, and seeing Ness smile, Solaris returned the smile. "Well, someone broke into my room, and I wanted to ask if you could fix the door they broke... But that can wait. What is it you want to know?" She asked, tilting her head by a small margin. "Why it... had that accident, I suppose?"

Malcor grunted, and yanked on his hand the kunai was attached to. the wire the kunai was wrapped in snapped, and quickly coiled around Rex's arm tightly, its natural tension slicing into him. The part of the wire that flew back to Malcor coiled around his hand, slicing his knuckles and settling there. he threw the table away and stepped back, changing his gloves into two daggers.
Rex grunted as his arm slowly dribbled black everywhere as continued walking forward, his black blood dripping to the ground as he continued. Electricity arced around him as he kept his eyes deadlocked on Malcor.

[/color] The android began to walk over and held her sword high above her head, ready to hack the demoness in half.

Both Rex and Pat jumped to their feet as Vera went to cleave Carmen in half. "Slow down there girl." Rex said as he tried to grab her arm.

"It was a process of trial and error. I made it with various items I had in my room, and getting the right balance between it being solid and liquid was a pain... But, I'm satisfied with the end result, all things considdered." Solaris responded. "And I've indeed never tried to make anything like this... But I've never been kidnaped and forced to compete in bloodsports, either. I need to think outside the box if I don't want to end up dying repeatedly."

When Vera approached Rex, Selim went to hide behind the bar counter, crouching down there, and peeking his head around the corner. When Rex and Patrick went to stop Vera, Selim wondered why they would stop her beating up the scary monster, but didn't say anything.

Rex was considerably stronger than an average human, especially considering he was using own robotic arm. However, he was only able to slow the attack down. This at least allowed Pat to block the strike with his axe. Together they would try to shove Vera away. "Cool down Vera." Rex warned.

The lounge door opened as a small boy, appearing to be about Selim's age and wearing an aviators cap complete with big red goggles, stepped through, rubbing his head. [sub]"...I don't remember going into anyone's brain...[/sub] mumbled the child before he noticed the people in the lounge. "Oh! Uh, hey!" he said to everyone.
