"Bit of overkill for cleaning a sword, isn't it?"

"Too lazy to get up and wet my rag from the sink."

Kenna rolled her eyes and stood, stretching and rolling her shoulders and neck.

 

[Demonjazz]

The Belmont sat there and continued to clean his weapons, occasionally taking sips of ale from his mug.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

If Belmont was looking at the door, he might notice a glint of light bouncing off something metal.

 

[Demonjazz]

The Belmont did see the glint of light but did not investigate it.

Kenna walked over to the bar, grabbing some water and sitting down.

 

[Demonjazz]

The Belmont continued to do what he was doing.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"I don't think we've really introduced ourselves." Kenna said, holding out her free hand to the Belmont. "I'm Kenna. You?"

 

[Demonjazz]

"Hugo Belmont, son of the famous Simon Belmont. I carry on my family tradition of killing Dracula." He said in the most casual way ever. He didn't take Kenna's hand and instead just sat there still polishing his weapons.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Kenna lowered her hand. "Killing Dracula? Really?"

 

[Demonjazz]

"Yeah get's resurrected from the grave every hundred years... Much less if his minions help him. Yeah, it's not very fun to kill him actually" He said still using his casual tone.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"...ok..." Kenna said after a moment of silence.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Yeah. His castle is freaking huge. I spent like a week wandering around just trying to figure out where to go. It also changes every time it gets brought from the ruins when Dracula is revived... And he only has one bathroom!"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Have you tried leaving a trail?" Kenna asked?

 

[Demonjazz]

"It wouldn't do me any good. The trail would be destroyed with the castle and I do in fact draw maps. I'm not an idiot."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Right. Sorry." Kenna said.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Don't worry. It's expected of a peasant not to know these things"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"A peasant?" Kenna said, insulted.

 

[Demonjazz]

"You're definitely not a noblewoman, or a warrior, merchant, or other middle class. So you're a peasant"
