<color=purple>"You have to win a fight with another person in the arena."

-----
"Well, I and my sister, Gwen, have been to alternate universes. And we've been to this one before as well. Most of the time other people come here out of nowhere. But they all tend to be good fighters one way or another."

<color=green>"Ah, yes. This place is televised. But for whom, we don't know. This whole place is automated."

"I guess I could take that as a complement, although..." Jinzi said as she scratched her chin with her upper left arm, her bottom pair on her hips. "That could explain why Azmot wasn't here~" Jinzi mused quietly to herself, a wide grin appearing across her face, going much farther up her cheeks than a normal human mouth would allow.

"So you were watching my fight with that bird then, Greenie?" Jinzi asked after Winona made herself known, Jinzi not knowing her name.
"But how? Getting knocked out or something? Pinning?" Mistletoe asked, her question not really getting answered from Gwen.

<color=purple>"I assume so. Ask the automated announcer guy. He seems to be everywhere. At least I think it's a he." Gwen said, wondering out loud, pointing her eyes up into the air.

-----

<color=green>"Yes, that's correct. It looked like that guy disappeared or something. I dunno where though. He did surrender quite early." The tiny voice shrugged. <color=green>"Oh yeah, and my name's Winona. I don't blame you for being hostile on people you don't know after being transported here. So for that I forgive you." She said kindly.

"But we are not hostile. As I said, this place is a mystery for everyone. We're just trying to explain that we don't intend to start a fight with you."

There was man who materialized into the locker room, a large flash of light, and everything accompanying him. He didn't seem fazed at all by the the fact that he was in some death arena. In fact he seemed happier than ever. The man was not a large man, being about 5'8, and not of a stocky build. What muscle he did have was very toned, and firm. Very military looking, seeming to have become accustom to lugging around large equipment with him, and routinely doing drills. In fact at the moment he was carrying around a rather wicked looking chainsword, a shotgun that appeared to be bought from a rather inexpensive store, and an unimpressive hunting rifle on his back, with plentiful amounts of ammo attached through out what he was wearing. What he was wearing in question was combat pants, and boots seeming to be of marine origin although if one were to look closely they had very neat stitching saying "Replica". Above that he was wearing a rather cheap looking kevlar vest which in very very very tiny stitching as if the vest itself was almost embarrassed of it, it read "Gabe's Gaming Palace" with the name in contrast to it being in big white lettering stating "Apollo Mctaggart". On his left wrist was a wristband with the letters "WWDGD" written on it
The man had started to pilfer the lockers taking anything new he could find, and taking any ammo out of anything that wasn't new. He was talking to himself. "Guns! Guns! Guns! GUNS! Oh dear god! There's so many guns! I can't even believe that some of this stuff even exists! There's just so many guns!" He said before opening one locker, and stopping in front of it knelling to the ground. He reached into the locker and delicately grabbed the gun as if it was a newborn child. He had tears in as he held up a gun that was nearly half his size. It required to be strapped to your shoulders to even fire the gun. The gun it's self was adorned with several futuristic dodads, and glowy things on it like out of some 50's sci-fi. Between sobs he said "... This is*Sniff* The*Sniff* Greatest Thing*Sniff* to ever exist" Tears of joy streaming down his face

A female figure appeared in an empty arena, wearing dark clothes made from the same material as 21st century military uniforms, and muddy, brown boots. Over her uniform, the new arrival was wearing a black, wool trench coat, with St Andrew's cross sewn onto the shoulders. On her back was a bolt-action rifle, and hanging on her left hip was a short sword. Additionally, hanging from her belt were a number of Molotov cocktails.
The woman stood upright, revealing herself to be around 1.7m tall, with an athletic build. Her hair was orange-red, and cut short. An observant person would likely notice that her hair had not been cut neatly, as she had done it herself without a mirror.

Opposite the apparently very Scottish woman was a relatively short young woman, in a lightly armoured tunic and a mask. She saw her opponent, and drew a long sword, taking her mask off and hanging it at her belt.

"Automated announcer guy?" Mistletoe asked a bit surprised as she looked up expecting some sort of voice. "Uh... hello?" She hesitantly called out.

"Contestants will in this match will be set against each other to try and drop them to the tar hazard below the arena stage. Whatever the means of achieving said goal are to the discretion of the combatants. A winner will be decided when either a combatant falls or is otherwise restricted from further action." The announcer proclaimed. As he talked however a mechanism of sorts appeared behind Gwen to push her into the arena itself before the doors closed behind her.

Combatants of Gwen Mason and Mistletoe of Canada are ready. Beginning arena generation

"W-W-What! I didn't say if I agreed to this yet!" Mistletoe protested, although she quickly shut up as the arena morphed around them.

The arena then shifted as the metal was replaced with all things sweet. The platform they were now on would resemble a large birthday cake, covered in primarily fondant, but also giant strawberries, frosting, lit candles and many colours of the rainbow. The boundaries seemed to consist of a dome a ways out from the radius of the cake, and a cylindrical drop that would eventually lead to a swirling mess of taffy of a red and purple. Many clouds of cotton candy floated in between the cake and the dome, some containing things like giant gummy bears or smaller cake platforms on them. The dome itself had a sky mosaic across it which simulated a glass roof look while still looking like it was made out of candy. Additionally from the dome there were pipes coming from it for which more taffy seemed to be continually pouring from.

Overall there would be a great deal of material floating around for Gwen to be able to fling at Mistletoe, even if you took away what was on the cake or the cotton candy clouds.

"Whoa." She managed to breath out as she eyes were wide, looking at the dramatic scene change of the arena. "Y-you're seeing this too, right Gwen? I'm not going mental, am I?" She asked, not sure what she should think in this situation.

"And how exactly would you be expecting me to know that? I'm not a mind reader. Fuck, at least Winona's got the right idea" Jinzi stated back, not enjoying the lecturing from EMily. Although not obvious due to her looking at the monitor with her face, Jinzi was diverting her attention to each individual as they added their two cents to the conversation. "So I'm guessing your sisters with this EMily and the rest of her kin, Winona? Great to see a person with a good head on their shoulders."

"Aaaand now I'm hungry, why didn't I get an arena like that!?" Jinzi exclaimed as the arena become the candy explosion it now was.

Seeing the other new arrival draw her sword, the Scot responded by doing the same. She lowered her body, looking around for cover. Suddenly, the arena changed to a ruined city, covered in plant life with crumbling walls and litter covering the cracked streets. Overhead hung a starry sky, with a new moon.

Fighters have entered the arena! Lucina will be fighting Kirstin Paterson!

Once the announcement rang out, Kirstin moved towards the shadows of a building. Her sword, composed of both steel and silver, glinted in the dim light.

Contestants, commence battle!

Seeing the glint of the blade head to a building, Lucina followed, sheathing her sword and moving quickly and quietly to try and sneak up on her opponent.

Kirstin kept her eyes on Lucina, as she entered the building through the doorless entryway. Kirstin sheathed her sword, and removed the rifle from her back. She raised it, keeping it trained on the door as she backed further into the building.

Lucina, seeing her stealthy tactics didn't work, decided to stop at the doorway, ducking behind a wall when she saw Kirstin draw some new weapon. Not knowing what it was, she decided to wait for now.

Kirstin fired as soon as she spotted Lucina, however she was expecting her opponent to actually enter the building. As such, the bullet would miss Lucina completely, or at most graze her arm. The loud noise, which would be followed by Kirstin cursing, may startle Lucina.

Lucina was grazed by the bullet. At least she had some idea of what it was now: like a bow, but a lot faster and more painful. She winced, readying her sword but not stupid enough to charge headlong at a ranged enemy.

Kirstin chambered a new round, keeping an eye on the door. When Lucina stayed back, Kirstin shouldered the rifle and drew her sword again. Quickly, the Scot ran up the stairs, and made her way to the front of the building. When she got there, Kirstin opened a window and dropped down.
If Lucina had stayed outside, Kirstin would attempt to drop on top of her opponent. If Lucina had entered the building, however, Kirstin would simply drop and roll away from the wall, not very gracefully.

Lucina had stayed outside, so Kirstin tried to get the drop on her. Not prepared for an attack from above, Lucina barely managed to raise her blade in time for a parry.

After landing, Kirstin would attempt to grapple Lucina to the ground, by kicking her leg out from under her. Regardless of whether or not this was successful, Kirstin would stay as close as possible, so Lucina's longer sword was less effective.

Lucina managed to dodge Kirstin, but the Scotswoman still managed to get in close. Lucina tried to dodge back to her blade's effective range, then thrust the blade forward, aiming to put the tip through Kirstin's heart.

Once her grapple failed, and Lucina began dodging backwards, Kirstin stared quickly backpedaling, and sheathed her sword. At the same time, Kirstin took out one of her firebombs and lit the match on the side. Still moving away, Kirstin would throw the makeshift incendiary grenade at her opponent, which would create a large fireball upon impact with the ground.

Her thrust missing, Lucina saw Kirstin pull out something. Not knowing what it was, but recognising it was about to be thrown right at her, she sprinted to the side to avoid it.

Kirstin swore again as Lucina avoided the ball of fire, and Kirstin took her rifle from her back again. Now the fight was in the street, with light from the flames, Kirstin had a better chance of hitting. She dropped to one knee, aiming at Lucina's chest, before firing a single shot.
