"That pussy?" James scoffed in response to both Carmen and the whip wielding creature. "I wondered where he scampered off to. Yeah, I wouldn't mind running into him again. Last time he just sucker-punched me and pissed off out of the arena." He glanced at Carmen again, taking his cigarette from his mouth.
"Rank 1? What do you mean? I haven't heard anything about ranks."

"That guy sounds pretty tough..." Laguna said, slightly warily. He turned and saw EMily and Gwen. He waved. "Heya."
Carmen looked over toward the new entrants and smiled a bit. [color=bb0066] "Well, aren't you two the cutest little things? What are your names?" [/color] She cooed calmly. Turning to James, she points toward a ranking board posted in the lockers. [color=bb0066] "The rankings are right there. They keep track of our records and the like." [/color]
She sighed a bit toward Tahril. [color=bb0066] "Hmph. I would have defeated him myself had I not been careless. Looks like we all have a little grudge against him..." [/color]

<color=purple>"Hi. Ummmm... what exactly is happening here?" Her eyes darted around the room. <color=purple>"James?" Both of these guys should be dead.
EMily turned to Carmen.
<color=blue>"I thank you for the compliment. But there's many levels of confusion in the surroundings. I'm EMily. May I ask your name?"
<color=purple>"Name's Gwen." She said to Carmen.

EMily turned to Carmen.

<color=purple>"Name's Gwen." She said to Carmen.
Tahril folded his arms. "I have not the time for this. Out of my way fools." He walked towards the arena in search of his quarry.
James glanced around following Carmen's gaze towards EMily, Gwen and Laguna.
"Hey." He greeted them simply, before spotting the ranking board.
"Oh yeah... didn't notice that before. I guess I was distracted that time." He said, chuckling slightly before going over to examine the board." As he did so, he heard Gwen say his name and glanced around at her again. Now that he paid attention, her face somehow rang a bell, but he couldn't say why.
"Uh... hello. Do I... have we met?"
OOC: @Slenn On that note, I'm going with the angle that all my ressurrected characters have vestigial memories of their WAOA experience, no more. On James, this can be seen by the bulging yellow eye tattooed on his left shoulder.

Carmen gave the Masons a small curtsy. [color=bb0066] "Carmen St.Luna, currently Rank 2 here. Pleasure to meet you both." [/color] She looked toward the arena and Tahril leaving. [color=bb0066] I don't see him beating that man... Hopefully that agent survives. [/color]

Tahril began sprinting to intercept the Meta, his agility allowing him to scale the walls to reach the gallery.
Laguna was quiet and looked startled for a second. "...I'd think I'd remember dying. Then again, you two actually do ring a bell."
