OOC: @Dot That... is annoying, yes. Ah well. It'd be nice to get him talking and fighting without bringing religion into it. Changing his viewpoint was also possible in the thread, since he spent so long on board a Predator ship. And he has lots of stories from his past that could be interesting. Lots and lots of stories. As well as some interesting surprises in a fight.

James craned his neck to look back at Jacques, then returned his attention to Carmen.
"Seems pretty zealous to me. But don't get upset. He's just an old-timer with outdated beliefs. Ignore him and there's not much he can do." He chuckled, looking amused. "You're not afraid of bibles and crosses, are you? And that sword on his belt... just don't go standing directly in front of him within a few feet."

"......Arena?" Jack asked the woman, managing to get the word out as his turned his intense but unsure gaze on her.

Gumi went up to block the right, but got hit by the left. hitting the floor with a "thump". "Well, that was certainly a...shocking experience..." she said in good manner, then spat out so blood from her mouth. She put her two pistol in there holsters then swung around her sniper rifle. "Not holding back now? Two can lime dance to that!" she said with a smirk, then shot at Rex. she then got up o her knees, ready to take another shot.

"Yes. I do not know how or why, but we were brought here to fight. It is not as bad as it sounds, however. All wounds, even death, are healed when the battle ends, and we get grand rooms and services like this bar."

Carmen chuckled faintly in response to James. [color=bb0066] "I must be wary against those who use holy powers, seeing as I am what I am. Bibles and crosses aren't things to be feared. Prayer and the like can't affect me, but holy weapons and spells are a much different story." [/color]

The shot straight through Rex's stomach, causing him to double over as he moved his hand over the large wound there. He cough up a little more blood himself before the electricity became more than visible arcing wildly around him. His previously unseen tail snaked out, arcing the most out of his entire body.

[color=000066] "...Heh. Even though you just shot me, I can't help but laugh at those analogies." [/color] Rex said, smirking a bit as he stood up. Soon enough, he ran at Gumi in a erratic pattern in anticipation of her next shot.

"He did say that he wasn't a member of the church. What constitutes a holy weapon exactly? Something that's used by someone with religious significance, or that's been blessed by such a person, something like that?"

Jack gave a slow nod as he looked around again. Being healed and brought back from the dead was nothing to him. Happened all the time. Fighting also wasn't anything new, though he wasn't happy to hear about that. He made a beeline for the bar and downed an entire bottle of scotch with shocking rapidity, with almost no noticeable effect on him.

Gumi smiled a little at Rex. "Aw, thank ya kindly" She said, then focused again. she watched for Rex's pattern then shot one to the left and one to the middle of his runnings. taking the small time break to reload 2 bullets.

Carmen sighed a bit as she downed the rest of her drink. [color=bb0066] "...Holy weapons are only made in Heaven, brimming with the holy energy up there. I could take being bathed in that energy lightly... but having it concentrated into a blade or other sort of medium makes it deadly. The inverse of the situation is true for angels... So... yes, they must be 'blessed' to concentrate the magic enough to be a demon's bane." [/color]

Rex slid under the second shot in his path before making his way in front of Gumi and kicking her with an electrically charged foot.

Ethan put his pizza into the oven "So what's with the horns. Part Tauros or something" He asked Carmen.

"Oh. Well, that doesn't sound like the kind of thing some sea dog is going to be carrying around, does it?" James said reassuringly, before glancing back at Jacques, who was engrossed in the large screen showing the arena fight.
"Nice sword though. Rapier, swept hilt, so it's probably Italian-made. Blade is a lot wider than normal rapiers, looks like it was specially made for slicing and thrusting. Must be custom made. I imagine..." He stopped himself, realising that he was rambling, and smiled with vague embarrassment.

"Sorry. I was a bit of a historic weapons aficionado back in the day. Point is, it's unusual, but I doubt it was made in Heaven."

Gumi used the side of her gun to block the kick, though she fell backwards due to the force. she tried to shot again, but the gun was jammed. [color= crimson]"Aw, not now!"[/color] she said, trying to unjam it. she took her knife out for defense till she got her gun working.

Jack again started to basically ransack the bar, as was his impulse now.

"I never got weapons myself. Isn't it a lot easier to just use Pokemon. Who needs to stab things when you can have mental blades stabbed into somebody from across a field" He looked at Jack "Eh you! Stop that. It's all free anyway!"

Carmen shrugged before looking over toward Jack downing the drinks and smirked to herself. [color=bb0066] "Well... You know how to hold your liquor well, don't you?" ...Is he a demon as well? ...No, but he seems close. [/color]

Turning to James, she giggled and shook her head. [color=bb0066] "No, no. Don't be embarrassed, James. But I wouldn't be surprised. Humans tend to stumble on things supernatural and take them up without a second thought." [/color] She said, looking like she was remembering something.

Snapping out of it, she sighed and shook her head at Ethan. [color=bb0066] "I am a purebred demon, child, not a chimera." [/color]

Weizoth emerged to find his zombified genestealers facing off against still living ones. Turning the pages of his book rapidly, he held out his hand to the fight and called out, "Desecrate..." The room became imbued with negative energy, dimming it slightly.
Reacting to the presence of negative energy, the zombified genestealers became empowered by it, fighting back with greater ferocity and ability then they had previously shown.

Jack slumped against the bar to recover slightly from his massive binge after clearing out the whole bar in such a short time. He stared down at the bar and seemed unresponsive.
