"Kupo!" Phonis was taken by surprise by Carmen picking him up. He didn't fight being scooped off his feet, but his facial expression made it clear he wasn't exactly happy with what was happening. "I am Phonis, Moogle Knight of clan... er... well, I kinda never really had a clan..." He declared, putting extra pride in his voice to off-set the fact that he couldn't make a valiant pose to make himself seem impressive, then petering out as his introduction fell off and resigning to scratching his head if he could. "And who might you be, kupo?"

Kenzo retracted his sword before it could be grasped. "Excuse me?" Kenzo asked again louder.

As the grab failed, Rex rocked over and faceplanted. After a moment, he woke up a bit and looked up at Kenzo. [color=000066] "Oh... Sup." [/color]

Carmen chuckled a bit as she put Phonis down and gave him a small curtsy. [color=bb0066] "I'm Carmen St.Luna. A pleasure to meet you, Sir Phonis." [/color] Noting the prideful tone Phonis was giving, Carmen spoke in a more regal tone herself. She then resumed picking up Phonis and tried to hug him a little close to her chest. [color=bb0066] "Are all Moogle Knights like you? I wouldn't mind commanding an army of you." [/color]

"Hello. I would like to know where I am." Kenzo said to Rex.

The kobold walked into the lobby and took a chair before chopping it up with his axe... He was thinking of taking some of the stone actually but remembered that humans didn't always have stone very far down in their rooms

Phonis took the opportunity when he was placed on the ground to bow to Carmen in a formal gesture. Being picked up once more, he cried out "Kupo!" once again. "Ack! Watch the pom-pom, kupo!" He added, flicking the wiry antennae atop his head backwards to keep the ball of fluff on the end from getting pinched between himself and Carmen as she hugged him closer. "Not really, kupo. Some Knights get positions in hunting clans, some others just do freelance work, and some others are hired on to work for the Goug City Watch, kupo." Being pressed against Carmen's chest, his thoughts inevitably strayed. I wonder if she even is a Gria?... I haven't seen one with these... what even are these pillow-things called anyway? All the Hume women, Viera, and Gria have them on their chest... Never bothered figuring out what they call them... Anyway, they usually aren't so large for most Gria... I wonder if she's a queen or something?... He thoughts continued to idly drift along on various tangents regarding anatomy and societal structures.

Carmen looked down at the Moogle she was hugging and tilted her head. Her cross shaped pupils would be pretty easily visible as she looked. [color=bb0066] "Ah, so you're all basically mercenaries. I can see that being respectable, so long as you actually fulfill your duties." [/color] She looked curiously at the pom-pom. [color=bb0066] "Why is that? Would you die if I were to disturb it?" [/color]

Rex shrugged. [color=000066] "You're in an arena right now. ...Seeing as you're blind, I can kinda see why you were confused." [/color]

Kenzo grunted in response to Rex. He began grumbling to himself.

Rex tilted his head a bit. [color=000066] "Guessing you wanna go a round then, right?" [/color]

"I see no reason for that." Kenzo said to Rex.

The kobold was nailing up some of the wood to a spot in the arena with a hammer that he found in the weapon lockers. When he heard Rex "Don't go near north east corner! You thank me later!"

Rex tilted his head again. [color=000066] "...So you're one of those pansies that think's fighting is wrong or something right?" [/color]
He looked over to the kobold, wondering what it was talking about since the arena was pretty clear and they weren't in the locker rooms. [color=000066] "Right..." [/color]

Kenzo slowly and calmly put his odachi on his back and drew it out, getting into a fighting stance.

Rex smirked as he stood up and cracked his neck. [color=000066] "Looks like I stand corrected. Still, don't pussy out just cause I said that." [/color]

"Whenever you wish to start." Kenzo said calmly.

Rex's chain formed into a gauntlet as he calmly walked up and threw a cautious punch toward Kenzo's face.

Kenzo slashed at Rex's arm as the punch came at him.

The sword made a dink on Rex's gauntlet as the punch went through and connected.

Kenzo stumbled back a bit, but then recovered and made another slash at Rex.

Rex casually swatted the second slash away with his gauntlet hand and slid in before launching a hard left straight punch towards Kenzo's gut. It carried the same force as a speeding car.
