Rex's hand would run into what felt like a solid wall of resistance. He would see a large figure standing between him and Rex.

Rex hopped back as he noticed the punch not connect with Kenzo. A bit of blood ran down his left hand since he'd punched the figure so hard and a bit of electricity arced around the man as he stood, putting his dukes up.

The armored figure seemed to fad as Rex backed of. As this happened, Kenzo made a powerful jumping downward slash at him.

As Kenzo leapt, Rex grabbed the man's sword with his non-gauntlet hand, sending black blood flying everywhere, as he pulled it to the side. He then pulled back to bring Kenzo closer while swinging a hard right uppercut, aimed at the samurai's face. The punch carried even more force than the first one.

Kenzo moved his head slightly to avoid the punch as he landed in front of Rex. He shoved his shoulder into Rex and tried to flip him over his back.

Since Rex's arm was up and therefore in the way of Kenzo's shoulder, the samurai wouldn't be able to move Rex much at all. He quickly shoved the samurai back and launched another left hand at Kenzo's face.

Kenzo doged again and tried to back away, since he was better at a distance.

Rex quickly stepped forward to keep close and launched another right hand.

Rex would again run into the armored figure. As this happened, Kenzo backed away at a greater speed.

Rex sighed before sliding up and rapidly punching the armored figure, aiming to make it break.

The armored figure gave no reaction to being hit. "Foolish boy. You cannot defeat Ishigaki: The Stone Wall." the armored samurai said in a deep, rumbling voice. As Rex was being held off, Kenzo put his odachi away and drew his katana.

Rex said nothing as he continued punching, each left causing it to bleed more and each strike getting progressively stronger and stronger.

As Rex punched away Ishigaki disappeared again. Kenzo also would not be where Rex had last seen him.

Rex sighed as the spirit disappeared and simply stood where he was once he noticed Kenzo no longer there.

Rex might or might not notice Kenzo was about to stab him in the back.

Phonis tilted his head to the side curiously as he noticed Carmen's odd pupils. "Um, I guess you could say that, kupo. Except Goug is the city we Moogles built for ourselves. Though all the respectable Moogle Knights always stick to their duties, Whatever they might be, kupo!" Hearing Carmen's question about his pom-pom, Phonis shook his head, said pom-pom bouncing along on its antennae. "Oh no, it's nothing like that, kupo. It's more like... pom-poms are sort of a source of pride for us Moogles. It's admittedly hard to explain to someone who doesn't grow up with a pom-pom, kupo."

Rex didn't notice Kenzo directly, but sighed and roared before letting out a torrent of electricity all around him, assuming that Kenzo was going to attack him anyway.

Carmen giggled a small bit as Phonis' pom-pom waved around as he spoke. She put the moogle down and stood back up. [color=bb0066] "Hmmm... So you're generally loyal... which doesn't make you like mercenaries. I see, sorry for the misinterpetation. So I'd assume that you'd have to have gone through some sort of training or that there may be a sort of Moogle Royal Court that the elite are charged to defend. Am I correct in that?" [/color]

Kenzo didn't take getting electrocuted very well and was not able to do his attack. He still crashed into Rex from behind, thanks to his momentum.

As the samurai crashed into him, Rex fell to the ground. Not really being bothered by this, he got back up and aimed to punch Kenzo as the man was still on the ground. If his fist connected with the ground, it would splinter a bit.

As Rex's fist connected with the ground, Kenzo slashed at his back after standing back up. Rex would feel the wind pick up considerably as Kenzo made the slash.
