Again, there was a great amount of hissing coming from all over the church. Also there was the sound of flapping wings.
"My child, I believe we have some troubled creatures coming for us." the man said as he looked up into the darkness that shrouded the ceiling.

"Low-level demon, you think?" Kenna asked, taking her pistol out and making sure it was loaded.
"Several, I would think." the man replied as his cane transformed into what looked life a fire axe. Indeed there was a lot of hissing and flapping, clearly coming from more than one creature. Soon some very stereotypical daemons were visible (red skin, teeth, claws, bat wings, etc.) The flying ones started darting at Kenna while ones on the ground ran at the man.
"Come, ye faithful, and be judged." he said.

Kenna jumped to meet the demons in the air, twisting as she jumped to deliver a roundhouse kick to the swarm.
Kenna knocked a few out of the air, but one tried to grab Kenna while she was in the air.

The demon was successful in grabbing Kenna by the arm, but she used the leverage to punch her assailant in the arm, then jump off him onto another enemy and attack them.
Kenna punched the demon hard enough to crush it's head into the wall, then jumped off it and landed back near the Irishman. "You doin' ok?"
There were several dead daemons around the man as he seemed rather nonchalant about it. "Yes, thanks. You? Have you fought these sorts before?" he asked, leaning a bit on his axe.
"Fun? What's fun about putting your life in danger, hmm?" the man asked Kenna with grandfatherly air about him, even if he didn't seem that old.
"I like a good fight, ok? Besides, these guys are never any threat really. And they come after me, so I might as well get used to them." Kenna said, pacing around the man.
"Sure, sure. Although, you don't need to be a priest, or a nun, to be close to God. God accepts all who desire what he provides, after all." the man replied as he let Kenna walk where she may. He then started hacking all the daemons apart, whistling again as he did.
"I'm not really a religious person. And... overkill much dude?" Kenna said as he began hacking at the corpses.
"Why do you feel distanced from God? And, tis far better to be safe, than to be sorry when it comes to daemons and the like." the man said as he glanced over his shoulder at Kenna, flashing a wide smile.
