[color=915f6d]"Thanks!"[/color] Selim said proudly. [color=915f6d]"They're mostly of my mom and dad. That one's my favorite!"[/color] He said next, pointed to the drawing of both of Selim's parents in a somewhat poorly drawn room, hanging to the left side of the bed. The mother sat in what appeared to be a leather chair, with Selim sitting on her lap, and the father standing to the right, beside the chair.

The wooden bed was positioned in the lefthand side of the room, in a corner, with a small lamp mounted on the wall above it. The bedsheets and blanket were in shades of blue, with the pillow being a light shade of green. Opposite the door was a window with white curtains draped infront of it, a wardrobe with a one-leaf door was positioned against the wall near a corner in the righthand side of the wall, with a door leading to a on-suite bathroom in the corner. Underneath the desk Selim sat at was a toy box, and the desk itself had a small lamp on it, and was covered with both blank sheets of paper, half-finished drawings, and a plethora of pens and crayons. The respawn pod was located on the lefthand side of the wall, integrated into the wall in the middle of it.

"That's... kinda a mouthful." Eddie commented, assuming a more active posture while sitting on the couch. "Anyway, I'm Eddie. And as for your question... Hell if I know. I've only been here a few hours."

"Hmm. Are you hungry or thirsty?" Rex asked Selim. Really he was looking for an excuse to leave the room, since he wasn't really used to being around children like this and it made him uncomfortable.

[color=915f6d]"Not hungry, but I'm kinda thirsty, yeah."[/color] Selim responded with a nod after some thought, looking slightly disappointed when Rex didn't look to Selim's favorite drawing.

Going the opposite way, the new arival would see a wall, and nothing else. The only way to go was the way the lights indicated.

As Solaris looked to the dagger and then pointed in another area, a strand of goo shot out of her finger and hit the second knob, changing that one into a dagger as well. Pix chuckled a bit as the strand reeled back in, a little faster this time. [color=80bb00] "Gonna need to do better to throw me off, Solaris." [/color] She said, a small smirk on her face.

Finding a wall, there wasn't really any other option but to follow the lights. In doing so however, she was cautious, being in an unfamiliar location and alone was not something to settle her nerves.

"Good to know you won't be attacking the wrong target." Solaris responded with a slight complementary tone to her voice. After waiting for a brief moment after the strand reeled back, Solaris first pointed her arm towards the second dagger, but then quickly pointed to the first dagger instead, and touched the circle.

Following the lights, the new arival would evenually walked into a more narrow and shorter hallway, with a thick steel door infront of her. Should she approach the door, a identical would close behind her. After this, there would be a ten second wait, before the bulwark that had barred her path initially slid up, quickly filling the corridor with sea water as it rushed in.

Rex nodded and left the room to go back to the lounge. He got some sodas and went back to Selim.

"You can just call me Ulysses than... Do you at least know if there is a ice box here?"

In her eagerness, Pix shot out her strand toward the second dagger as the circle was touched. However, recognizing her mistake, the strand that shot out arced in mid-air, transmuting the first dagger back into a knob as it touched. Solaris would probably be able to notice the emergency correction her slimy companion had made as the strand reeled back silently. Internally, Pix let out a small sigh. [color=80bb00] ...Whoopsie... [/color]

As the door behind her closed, she wheeled around and struck the door with her spear. The only thing that happened however was a loud sound that rang out from the impact. As the other door opened and the water started to pour in did it become slightly apparent what these doors were for. As the water finally rushed in, she was knocked back, albeit far less than would be expected for such pressure.

Noticing the correction the strand had made, Solaris chuckled lightly after it reeled back. "Looks like I got you there. Good save, though." she commented. Turning towards the dagger turned doorknob, Solaris extended her arm towards it, then moved it towards the second dagger, then back to the doorknob, before finally pointing towards the doorknob of the door of the room.

[color=915f6d]"Thanks."[/color] Selim responded as he took the soda from Rex. After taking two sips, Selim set the bottle down, before pointing towards the respawn pod. [color=915f6d]"Do you know what that is, Mister Rex?"[/color] He asked curiously, having no clue what the strange machine was for.

"An ice box?" Eddie questioned. He scratched his head for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah, I saw one under the bar counter there. Why?"

Now submerged, and with the way forwards open to her, the new arival would find the surroundings to be a familiar sight, as it was whatever spot the arival slept in most back on her home world, with the exception of a respawn pod, specially modified to work underwater being fastened inthe middle of the ocean floor. The arival wouldn't be able to swim very far, however, as the space was contained within a dome of a thick transparant material, leaving only the way forward open to her.

should she head forward, the arival would find herself in a smilar space she had been in prior to coming into the dome. And similarly, the bulwark would close behind her. After this, the water would be drained, before the other bulwark would open, revealing a door, behind which laid the hallways.

"...No." Rex said, not having gone through the respawn system himself yet.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Ice boxes usually have food in them" he said opening the minifridge under the counter

 

[Chungus]

[color=915f6d]"It looks wierd, though. Don't you think?"[/color] Selim asked as he hopped off his desk chair, and approached the respawn pod. Standing before it, he leaned against it, tip-toed, and looked looked up to it. After a moment, selim gasped lightly, and turned towards Rex with stars in his eyes. [color=915f6d]"Do you think it's a mini space ship?!"[/color]

Opening the ice box, Ulysses would find it just contained ice cubes. However, as he crouched down behind the bar counter, he might notice a button in a corner on an empty space on the shelves behind him.

"I don't think so. I wouldn't mess with it. You might get a shock or something." Rex cautioned, finding himself being strangely paternal toward the boy.

 

[Chungus]

[color=915f6d]"Oh... Okay."[/color] Selim responded, blowing a small sigh. Walking back to the desk chair, he sat back down on it, and picked up the soda, taking a few sips before looking back to Rex. [color=915f6d]"Mister Rex? You said that we can't leave, right? But you also said you'd try to get me back home, right?"[/color] He questioned, tilting his head lightly. [color=915f6d]"But... How'd you do that if there's no way out?"[/color]

 

[Demonjazz]

"... Hmmm... A button... They say curiosity killed the cat so is it really a good idea to push it?... Than again science was founded upon curiosity... And science is really cool... Might as well press the button!"

 

[Outisakanobody]

"There's gotta be some way out of here. We'll get out, one way or another." Rex said resolutely to Selim.

Waiting until Solaris actually touched the circle, Pix's strand fired out straight to the doorway and transmuted the knob. Pix chuckled as she reeled the strand back. [color=80bb00] "Heh... Yeah, thank goodness for this control..." [/color]

 

[Chungus]

[color=915f6d]"Alright then."[/color] Selim responded with small smile. [color=915f6d]"My dad'll come for me soon, anyway!"[/color] He added a brief moment after, then chuckled.

When Ulysses pressed the button, the shelve of the empty space slid up, revealing a microwave of sorts. On the right side of it was a small screen reading: "Please touch one one of the options on screen to continue." Beneath that message, the words "Select meal", and "Quit" were seen.

"Well, I think you've got acting on cue down." Solaris said with a small smile after Pix transmuted the doorknob of the doorway. "Attacking on cue would be the same, only without my toucing the transmutation circle. So, I think that's the end of our little practice session."

With that said, Solaris extended an arm towards the dagger, and touched the transmutation circle, and would do the same with the remaining dagger after it was turned back into a doorknobb.
