[color=915f6d]"Huh?"[/color] Selim said when Ness told him to slow down, scratching his chin slightly, before chuckling lightly. [color=915f6d]"Oh! Right, I'm asking too many questions again. Sorry, Miss Goop!"[/color] He said appolagetically, looking back up to Solaris. [color=915f6d]"So, anyway...!"[/color]

For a time, Selim continued to ask Solaris a myriad of questions regarding the Pix armour, why and how she made it, what she made it with, how she prevented it dripping off her body, what the various transmutation circles were for and more speciffic questions regarding the workings of the transmutation circles. Most questions, Solaris answered, although the more speciffic questions, she didn't, saying she wouldn't give away trade secrets. At Pix vibrating, Solaris smiled slightly, making it look like she was sliming at Selim's enthusiasm.

"Is that all?" Solaris asked Selim, running a hand through her hair.

[color=915f6d]"Yeah. All I can think of for now, anyway. Thanks, Miss Goop!"[/color]

Solaris blew a small sigh, thankful the question round was over with. Finally... "You're welcome, Selim... Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get myself a drink." She anounced, then looked to Ness. "We'll... deal with the door another time, I suppose." With that said, Solaris began walking towards the lounge.

Selim waved Solaris goodbye as she walked off, then looked back to Ness with a smile. [color=915f6d]"That's what my dad says, too!"[/color] He stated. [color=915f6d]"About working for your dreams. He said the same thing."[/color]

Ness watched Selim and Solaris talk, amused despite knowing she'd be a little more than pissed were she in Solaris' position. She nodded toward the woman as she left to go to the lounge before looking back down to Selim as he spoke to her. [color=666666] "Right, it's a good mindset to have. Working hard is what gets you everything in life." [/color] She tilted her head a bit before asking [color=666666] "So is it alright if I ask what your dad's like?" [/color]

[color=915f6d]"He's the best dad in the whole wide world!"[/color] Selim exclaimed happily, almost imediately after Ness asked about his father. [color=915f6d]"He's the leader of a whole country, and it's his job to make everyone happy, which must be really hard, because he spents a lot of time doing it. Still, he always finds time to come play with me."[/color] He explained with a beaming expression on his face. Near the end, however, Selim became a bit more glum. [color=915f6d]"I miss my dad... And my mom... I want to go home."[/color]

As she walked towards the lounge, Solaris looked over her shoulder to see if she was out of earshot from Ness and Selim, and groaned upon seeing this was the case. "Ugh... I think I lost a third of the fluids in my body, so dry is my mouth now..." She said, speaking with a lowered voice.

[color=666666] A leader of an entire country....? So does this make this little kid a prince? "Wow, that sounds really impressive. And I'm glad to hear your dad still finds time to take care of you." [/color] Ness said with a smile. That smile waned a bit as Selim's expression got more dark. [color=666666] "Right... sorry, but you'll need to be patient. Trying to find a way out of here is way harder than you'd think it would be. I can understand missing your parents though..." [/color]

Pix's face slowly formed on the shoulder and she was looking somewhat livid, almost cartoonishly so. [color=80bb00] "Should've given me the order to spear that little snotball.... [small]Callin' me a booger, that lil' piece of.... [/small]" [/color] Pix grumbled. She sighed a bit before looking back to Solaris. [color=80bb00] "Seeing as you probably don't wanna drink goo, I can't help ya there." [/color]

[color=915f6d]"Yeah... Mister Rex said that there wasn't an exit, or something... It sucks, I hate this place."[/color] Selim responded, kicking at the floor. After a moment, however, he seemed to liven up a little more. [color=915f6d]"But I did make friends with an awesome robot, so I guess it's not all bad..."[/color] Looking back up to Ness, Selim paused, then pointed up to her fedora. [color=915f6d]"What's that funny hat you got there?"[/color]

"We wouldn't have gotten away with another accident. Especially considdering he's a kid. People always go overboard when it comes to those..." Solaris responded after blowing a small sigh. "There is something in it for us for putting up with him, however. That kid is the son of the führer. If we keep him safe, we can cash in on some nice reward money when we go back to my home world."

At the mention of drinking goo, Solaris' mood was lifted slightly. "No offence, but I can't say that sounds very appealing, no." She responded, shaking her head while chuckling faintly.

Ness tilted her head a bit. [color=666666] "A robot? Who would that be?" [/color] Once the kid motioned to her hat, Ness blinked and took it off her head. He might see that once Ness took her hat off, her hair would look to be a bit of a mess. [color=666666] "This is a fedora. My parents gave this to me when I was little, so I wear it almost everyday." [/color] She smiled a little as she said this, before putting the hat back on her head.

[color=80bb00] "Hoohoo~ Alright then... I guess being called booger a few more times is worth a little bit. Wait, so you know that kid from before then, huh?" [/color] Pix asked, her mood becoming a bit more jolly. She feigned being offended by Solaris rejecting her offer. [color=80bb00] "Booooo~."[/color]

[color=915f6d]"Uhh..."[/color] Selim responded when asked about Vera's name. [color=915f6d]"Her name is... Unit, or Vera, or something... I don't know, it was confusing. So I just call her Miss Robot instead! But she's really cool! She's got these glowy tube things coming out of her arms, and a sword that shoots lightning! I wonder if she's done making that monster go away already..."[/color]

When Ness took her fedora off, Selim noted the messy state her hair was in, being used to fairly strict rules when it came to grooming and keeping up appearances. [color=915f6d]"Your hair's kinda messy..."[/color] He said with a sheepish smile. When Ness put her fedora back on, Selim tilted his head slightly, looking somewhat confused. [color=915f6d]"Huh? But if they gave it to you when you were little... wouldn't it have been way too big for you then...? Oooor did it, like, grow with you?"[/color]

"Not personally, no. I've never gotten the oppertunity to interview the führer or his family. But, that he has a son is common knowledge." Solaris commented. "I must say, though. I never would've thought the kid would be so... borderline-hyper active."

At Pix feigning indignation, Solaris smiled. "Oh no! Did I offend you? Well... I'll supose I'll have to get you a drink of your own this time to make up for it."

Ness tilted her head as she tried to image what Vera looked like from what Selim had said. Once he mentioned a monster, she tilted her head a bit. [color=666666] "A monster? ...I don't remember being informed of things like that skulking around here..." That might explain the door if a monster ripped it open... [/color]

She blushed a bit as she covered her head back up. [color=666666] "Oh... I-It gets like that sometimes...[small] A lot more than I'd like...[/small]" [/color] The fedora girl said, sighing a small bit before chuckling. [color=666666] "Yes... it was really big for me. They used to love teasing people I brought over from school with baby pictures of me wearing it. You couldn't even see my eyes when I had it on." [/color]

Pix chuckled once more. [color=80bb00] "Well, think about it. It's the big cheese's kid, he'll probably keep him locked up somewhere and kids, being the annoying little snotballs they are, have a lot of energy. If he can't that loose at home, he'll let it loose when he's not home, y'know?" [/color] The face smiled a bit more as Solaris joked around. [color=80bb00] "How kind of you~. I'll forgive you, just this once." [/color]

"Yes. I did think about that. But still, there is leeting loose energy, and there's talking faster then a horse could run." Solaris responded, nodding slightly near the beginging. "I just hope we'll not have to deal with hom too often... No amount of money is worth being bombarded with questions like that."

Nearing the lounge, Solaris slowed down slightly to give Pix time to respond without risking anyone picking up on her voice, and would entered after. She looked those around in the lounge over for a moment, before approaching the bar, glancing up towards the Tv screen on the way. The tart and the machine girl, is it?

[color=915f6d]"There's lots of them! They're all big and scary-looking. Like, twice or three times as big as me!"[/color] Selim exclaimed. When making mention of size, he ip-toed, and held his arms above his head. [color=915f6d]"...The last one wasn't that big, though. That one was more... as big as you. But still scary! There were three more monsters when I was following Mister Knight around, but he beat them up."[/color]

When Ness responded to the mention of her her hair and blushed, Selim chuckled lightly. [color=915f6d]"Well, that's alright. With a nice hat like that, you can just get away with messy hair!"[/color] When Ness mentioned her wearing the fedora as a child, Selim looked in the distance for a moment with his mouth slightly agape, seeming to imagine Ness the image. Eventually, he laughed, and pointed up to Ness' face. [color=915f6d]"That must've looked funny!"[/color]

[color=80bb00] "Hey, I said nothing about him not having a ton of energy. But I second that motion of avoiding when possible." [/color] Pix said with a small sigh.

After she had entered, Solaris would see the fight nearing its end. Vera's various wires and tubing were exposed and sparking, the girl barely able to function as the hole in her side shot out multiple sparks. Even despite the massive amounts of damage, the girl continued moving, each step a jerking, stuttering motion shooting even more sparks out of her injuries as she stepped toward the succubus. Carmen, on the other hand, had come out of the scuffle with barely an injury, a red line on her arm the only injury apparent to the spectators. She sighed and pointed a single finger toward the android and fired off a bolt of electricity, finally causing Vera to overload and cease function. Being declared the victor, Carmen blew a kiss to the camera and walked off. Oddly enough, the medics who came on the scene looked more like technicians and the like as they carried the broken heap of metal off.

Ness blinked a bit as she rubbed her chin. [color=666666] "...Then could you tell me where you saw these monsters? ...And who is this 'Mister Knight'?" More participants...? [/color]

She blushed a small bit again once Selim brought up hiding her hair. [color=666666] "Yes, I can... and thank goodness for that." [/color] The blush intensified as the child pointed to her, laughing. [color=666666] "Yeah, it was... Almost everyone who visited my house thought so too... And yet, my parents wondered why I was so reluctant to invite people over." [/color] She sighed again before looking around the area.

Looking up to the Tv screen from behind the bar counter, Solaris raised an eyebrow upon seeing how one-sided the fight had seemingly been. When Carmen delivered the final blow, Solaris shook her head at Carmen blowing a kiss, and turned around to the shelves. Hmm... Maybe I'll be able to capitalise on that girl's crushing defeat. Solaris continued thinking on things for time longer, before blowing a sigh and pouring some water in the water cooker, and turning the device on.

[color=915f6d]"Oh, Mister Knight? He's like, a knight, that came from the sea! He's really tall, wears a big suit of funny-looking amry, and carries this huge spear. He also kinda looks like a monster, though... Having wierd grey skin, big, black eyes, and a mouth full of sharp teeth! He doesn't scare me, though. He was really nice."[/color] Selim explained, adding to his explaination with hand gestures. [color=915f6d]"He always talks odd. Like he has something stuck in his throat... Anyway, the three monsters I saw that Mister Knight beat up were in a big, round room that wierdly changed into something else before the monsters came. I don't really know what happened there... The biggest monster, I saw somewhere in the hallways around here when I was following Mister Knight, and the first and latest monsters, I saw in the lounge."[/color]

Rex went off to see if Vera would make a recovery, and came across Ness and Selim.

Carmen would eventually show up in the lounge, giving Solaris a wave as she did. Sitting down, she returned to the drink she had left once Vera had tried to attack her.

Vera had been rebuilt in her room and the medics quickly poured out of her room and seemingly disappeared after turning a nondescript corner. The android was still deactivated, though a timer was slowly ticking in her head.

Ness tilted her head a good amount as Selim described the knight. She cocked her head back into a more normal position as he finished and she began to think on it a bit, trying to imagine the figure. [color=666666] ....Well, it seems they're dragging people out from more than a few dimensions... or perhaps just distant galaxies... Who knows? [/color] She blinked a bit in shock as she realized something. [color=666666] "Y-You were in the Arena?!" ...Oh, thank goodness that knight was there... "Um.... what did these monsters in the lounge look like?" [/color]

Hearing Rex's footsteps, Ness looked up and gave him a small wave.

"I see you didn't go easy on that woman." Pat said to Carmen.

Rex waved back at Ness. "Hey kid. You doing okay?" he asked Selim.

 

[Chungus]

"Hello, ally of mine." Solari said with a faint smile as she turned to Carmen and returned the wave while waiting for the water to cook. "Congratulations on your rather... flawless victory." She added after a brief pause, looking to Carmen's arm before looking back to her face.

[color=915f6d]"Arena? That's where all the fighting happens, right? If so, I guess I was... I don't want to go back there."[/color] Selim responded to Ness with something of a wry smile. [color=915f6d]"They were big and scary."[/color] Selim began when questioned about the 'monsters' he saw. He was about to give a more detailed description, when Rex approached. Turning to him, Selim gave a small nod. [color=915f6d]"I am now. Miss Fedora's been really nice."[/color]

"Good, good." Rex said as he nodded and looked Ness over to try and determine if she was trustworthy.

[color=bb0066] "Dear, that wasn't flawless." [/color] Carmen said, scoffing a small bit after taking a sip. [color=bb0066] "That damn piece of walking scrap metal managed to hit me, I should have performed better... But thank you regardless." [/color] She replied to the goo-encased woman before she gave off a small sigh and looked to Patrick. [color=bb0066] "Excuse me for not wanting to feel the sting of death more than necessary." [/color]

Ness nodded toward the first part of what Selim said, though she frowned. [color=666666] "....Despite that, I think we don't have much choice in the matter. People have to fight or they'll be forced to stay in their rooms... And if you try to leave your room to go somewhere else without having fought... well, let's just say you don't wanna do that. I know from experience..." [/color] She sighed a small bit. Looking over to Rex, she tilted her head as she was being observed. [color=666666] "....Can I help you?" [/color]

Rex would allow Malcor to extend his arms, subtly still on guard.

"I just don't think we've met." Rex said to Ness.

Pat shrugged a bit to Carmen's response.

Seras looked a little confused at Kenna as her expression changed.

Ragnar walked into the lounge, yawning. It was the first time since he had slept since he arrived in the arena more than a week ago.

My. Aren't we arrogant. "You just recieved a scratch, while she, quite literally, fell apart." Solaris commented, turning her back to Carmen after the water cooker made a pinging noise, indicating it was finished. With her back turned, Solaris alowed a small smirk to creep on her face. "I don't see how that isn't a flawless victory. That is, unless things happen before I got here. I didn't see the entirety of the fight." Grabbing a tea pot, Solaris poured the steaming water in it, then set the cooker aside and took a lemon tea tea bag, which she dangled in the pot.

[color=915f6d]"Yeah... Some voice over the radio said I had to fight some time ago."[/color] Selim commented, turning back to look to Ness. [color=915f6d]"But I thought you could just ignore that...? That's what Mister Rex said, anyway."[/color] He added, pointing in the general direction Rex was in when he mentioned him.
