Nanami paused as she thought about how to describe her home, not having a definite means of translating it over for them. "Tthhatt mmyy hhoommee. Bbiiggg wwaatterr. Nnoo ddrry llaandd, jjusstt wwatter. Ccaamme tto eearrtth iinn aannoommolly oonncce." She tried to describe.

"III hhuummaann orr nnott hhuummann nnott nneeedded too pprrottect. Jjusst doo. III amm kkniight. III prrottectt ppeeoople tthatt need pprrottectt." She stated, trying to make it clear that regardless of her being a human or not, someone in need would get her protection. In other words, chivalry at its basic form before it was slanted to only pertain to women.

"Well now, that'll be my little secret." Solaris responded as she looked down to Pix with something of a sly smile. She drank the remainder of the tea, and set the cup back down on the tray, before looking back up to the screen. "Maybe I'll tell you one day. Although, given your shapeshifting abilities, I don't see why you'd need it."

Letting go of Vera's hand, Selim looked over his shoulder, to Ness as she excused herself. [color=915f6d]"Bye, Miss Fedora!"[/color] He said happily before looking back up to Vera, and shrugging slightly. [color=915f6d]"Well... I was looking for you. Now, I'm just passing time until a way out is found, or until my dad comes pick me up."[/color] He explained, then smiled. [color=915f6d]"Would you like to see my fake room, Miss Robot? It's almost exactly like my real room!"[/color]

"I do not understand. No human who worships the Emperor or lives within the Imperium would tolerate your presence, let alone your help. Has the Imperium not reached your world yet? Or... are you... from another of these dimensions?"

Nanami struck a sort of thinking pose, one with her webbed finger touching her chin. "Nnaannammi tthinnkks ddiimmeennssiioonnss. Vvaanneessaa ssaay tthatt beeforee annoommally." She eventually replied, seeming to not be quite sure herself, although given her lack of technology on her, it seemed to make a lot of sense she wouldn't really understand space travel or other time-space shenanigans.

Then you cannot be... but you say you protect..." Ragnar looked between Kenna and Nanami and shrugged helplessly.
"They did not cover anything like this in training." He muttered.

"How about you don't try and murder her? I think that'd be best for everyone." Kenna said.

"III caann'tt bee whhatt?" Nanami asked Ragnar. For a moment, she looked awkward as she didn't want to be holding onto her helmet anymore, but didn't have anywhere convenient to put it, so instead she just stuck it back on her head.

Nanami looked to Kenna for a moment as she listened to what she had to say before nodding and looking at Ragnar. "Ffiigght nnot ffinne. Prrottecctt iss." She reaffirmed Kenna's claim.

 

[Random berk]

"Well, I... yeah, maybe." Ragnar replied to Kenna bemusedly. He glanced down at Nanami again, momentarily wondering why she had her helmet on.
"Alright then, uh... I suppose I have no duty to destroy you." He muttered awkwardly, then gestured briefly at her with his bolter. "But I'll be keeping my eye on you, so do not try anything."

"III pprrottectt. RRaaggnar nnott needd bbanng." She said very bluntly at Ragnar, having been in the same situation a handful of times before.

Since she was still in the lounge, Nanami felt a little hungry. Smelling food near the bar area she headed over that way.

"Good to hear." Kenna said to Ragnar as the conversation ended.

 

[Random berk]

"Well, that was... strange." Ragnar said as Nanami wandered off to get food. "I haven't been very sure of what to do since coming to this place, but this was something else entirely."

"Why do you consider anything that isn't human a threat?" Pat asked Ragnar.

 

[Random berk]

"Because where I come from, they are."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"What an awful place that must be." Pat replied as he shook his head.

 

[Random berk]

"The galaxy is a dark and war-torn place." Ragnar affirmed. "That is why the Imperium needs us, the Emperor's angels of death to stand in its defence. That is why the Space Wolves stand guard at the Eye of Terror and await Ragnarok."

 

[Chungus]

After talking with Pix for a while longer while drinking a second cup of tea, Solaris stood up and put on the pair of red gloves again to cover up the nodes on her hands after Pix morphed herself into being a necklace, with the various things Solaris had etched into Pix remaining on it, and the transmutation circle Solaris claimed governed the form of Pix at the front. Picking up the tray, Solaris walked towards the door, she once again rested the tray on one knee while she opened the door, and did the same to close it once she exited her room.

Making her way to the lounge, Solaris set the tray down behind the bar after looking everyone present in the lounge over. Her gaze momentarily lingered on Nanami, who she hadn't seen before. Wonderful. Another one to stand in my way...

With Solaris nearby, Nanami would have an uneasy feeling, one not unfamiliar to her. Another thing she would have seen before, was the Ouroboros tattoo on Solaris' exposed sternum, and Solaris' mauve eyes with slitted pupils.

Nanami when to the bar, and sniffed around. She could tell that the food was coming from somewhere, but couldn't seem to figure out where exactly it had come from. She stopped at the microwave looking box, figuring the food had come from there, but not sure where it came from initially.

With Solaris in the room now, Nanami paused for a moment. She felt something that took her a moment to remember from where. Standing up, she turned around as she said.

"Ggreeedd?" She said, cocking her head when she saw Solaris standing in from of her. "Yyou nnott Greeedd, bbutt ssmeell llikkee Greedd. Wwhaat yyoour nnaame?" She asked.

Pat continued to shake his head as he didn't really believe Ragnar and wondered how many people in his world were this racist.

"Really? That's what you have trouble believing?" Kenna said, gesturing to Nanami.

With Nanami turning to look towards Solaris and mentioning Greed, Solaris raised an eyebrow, partially because she was supriised at the sound of Nanami's voice. "Greed?" She repeated quizically. "That's the second time someone ascociated me with this person..." She shook her head lightly, before smiling slightly towards Nanami in way of a greeting. "I'm Solaris. Who're you?" She asked while from time to time, casting a glance to Nanami's fins.
