Annika left the arena, looking quite confused as her injuries healed. Upon exiting the arena, she spotted Junkil and his disapproving look. "Mikä hätänä?" (What's the matter?) she asked.
"Your magic angers the Earth-Mother. Fire should not be used so frivolously.", He paused for a moment, then spoke again. "Your speech is familiar, are you of the suomalaiset*?"
Annika continued to look confused, however the stuffed bear pulled himself out of Annika's jacket. "She is. And it's my magic, technically." he said as he perched himself on Annika's shoulder.
Junkil hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Very well. Fire is a display of the anger in the world. If faced with something unnatural, that angers the Earth-Mother, then fire might be used, for then the usage is in harmony with what the world feels. One should always seek harmony with nature, even more so if blessed with magic."
The bear made a motion as though he were stroking a beard. "I think I get what you mean. But, since I'm a fire spirit, what we can do is limited."
"I see... I wish I could help you, but I am no master, it is not my place to teach." He took a half-step back and bowed by the waist, "I dearly hope you will find the joy of water, or the serenity of the rock, in the future."
There was a woman sitting in the lounge, half watching the screen, but more preoccupied with what appeared to be a small metallic tube sticking out of her arm. She turned it slightly, as if screwing it in.
Rex Power Colt walked into the lounge as well, feeling like he had just woken up fun a coma. "I need a drink, fast." he muttered in a gruff, gravely voice.
"True." Beth said, standing up and stretching. More tubes similar to the one she was tweaking earlier were embedded into her arms, giving off small wisps of cyan gas.
