Annika simply shook her head, once the bear had translated. The bear walked back over to Annika, and climbed into her arms. Annika noted the change in Idun's expression, though she didn't react. Annika's own expression was just as calm as before.

At Annika's response, Idun exhaled somewhat heavily through her nose, expecting the response given. "" she then said, cocking her head towards the entrance to the arena proper, thinking that being in a forced tournament, if she challenged Annika, she would have no choice but to join her in the arena.

Leaving the dorm, Idun moved to her locker, opening it, and retrieving her suitcase.

Annika sighed and followed Idun out into the arena, not stopping by her locker on the way. Upon entering the arena, Annika clasped her hands and began focusing. The faint glow returned to her hands and feet, and Idun may observe that this glow was coming from the ring-spirit.

Pulling the suitcase out of the lock, Idun parts of her armour from it. Not wanting to spend the time it would take putting on the entire suit, she only took the pieces for the upper and lower arms, elbows, upper legs, knees, and the helmet, all articles looking more like modern combat armour of the like an officer from a riot response unit would wear, safe for decorations in the form of nordic patterns.

After the three minutes it took Idun to put the armour on, Idun took the axe and shield from the suitcase, then put the suitcase back in the locker, closing it. With that done, she went to meet Annika in the arena.

When the metal doors closed behind her, Idun assumed a battle-ready position; bending through her knees slightly, and raising the should so it covered her torso, and raising the hand in which she held her axe so the hand was level to her head.

She noted the ring spirit lending its power to Annika, her gaze shifting between it, Annika herself, and the fire spirit.

Once the doors had shut, the arena took on the form of a mountain plateau. Idun and Annika were both quite close to the cliff edge, though not to the extent that they were in serious danger of falling right away. The cliff was on Idun's left, with a trees on her right. Though sparse near the combatants, the trees got denser further in.

As the arena changed to take on a cliff side, Idun took a deep breath, inhaling the mountain air while lightly swaying her axe around.

When the start of the battle was announced, Idun extended her axe hand towards the ring spirit. A white, two tiered magic circle appeared in front of of Idun's hand, with text in-between the two circles reading "Decree. Bind. Spectre." from left to right, in old Nordic runes. Almost immediately after this happened, the same ring appeared around the ring spirit, horizontally, preventing it from doing anything until the binding circle faded.[footnote]Which will be after1 turn.[/footnote]

With the ring spirit bound, Idun charged at Annika with a battle cry, shield still raised, and axe now moved to be overhead.

The glow around Annika's hands and feet faded, confusing her for a second. The charging warrior was a more immediate concern, however, and Annika thrust her hands towards Idun's feet. A blast of fire shot out, igniting the grass and heating the ground between the two combatants.

Seeing the grass ignite in-between Annika and herself, Idun extended her arm in which she held the axe again, this time forming a rainbow pathway underneath her feet. The path extended on, curving up over the the fire and coming to an end near Annika. Idun was carried over the path without her moving her legs, guiding her over the fire safely.

Rather then let herself be carried to Annika all the way, when over the fire, Idun pulled her arm back and hid it behind her shield, this dissipating the rainbow path, Idun touching down on the ground. Closing in on Annika on foot, Idun slightly lowered herself, and quickly after, thrust the blunt top of the axe towards Annika's sternum with a fair amount of force, aiming to drive the wind out of her.

By now, the binding circle keeping the ring spirit in place faded away.

When the binding circle faded, Annika's hands and feet began glowing again. She readied herself for Idun's attack, but was expecting a slicing attack, due to Idun using an axe. Annika stumbled back, and grabbed Idun's forearm to help steady herself. Once Annika had her balance, and a strong grip on Idun, she attempted to throw Idun by her arm at the trees.
The glow around Annika's hands and feet would intensify, then fade to near nothing once she let go, if the attack was successful. The brighter glow would correspond to Annika becoming physically stronger and more capable of hurling a human adult.

Not being able to pull back in time due to her coming out of a charge, Annika would be able to grab hold of Idun. Although at 82kg, Idun weighed more then she looked, with her capable of hurling average adults, Annika would still be able to toss Idun. Idun let out a surprised scream as she flew towards the trees, but rather then crash against it, she had light solidify into a pole, and hooked the head of her axe behind it. Hitting the ground in a crouched position, the light pole dissipated.

Idun then rose up and extended her arm towards the fire spirit as she did. Another two-tiered magic circle appearing in front of it, the text in between the two circles here reading "Languid. Turn. Spectre." from left to right, in old Nordic runes. As before, the same circle formed around the fire spirit, reducing its reaction time and movement speed by 1/3. (This will last 5 turns.)

With this, Idun moved towards Annika again, now at more of a hurried walk.

An electric sparking sound was made in the locker room, then followed by four bubble popping noises. The four familiar faces of the Mason sisters appeared. Gwen pulled out Graviton to check on various things. EMily looked eager to find out if something worked or not.

"So I assume that the transfer worked correctly?" She said, looking at the data screen that was on Gwen's hologram.
<color=purple>"It looks that way. Although, from looking at the space time data, I'm still not sure where we are."

EMily peeked around from where she stood, squinting her eyes as if something was on the tip of her tongue.
"Wait a minute... something feels awfully familiar about this place."
<color=purple>"I'm starting to agree with you."

<color=green>"What do you mean?"

<color=purple>"Follow us. I might have a hunch as to where we are after all." The girls proceeded to scout out the locker room.

Annika raised her hands again, and began shooting flames at Idun, like a flamethrower. As she did this, Annika advanced, hoping to force Idun back. At the same time, the power from the ring spirit stopped flowing, removing the glow on Annika's feet and hands. Because of this, Annika's chest began throbbing, the pain centred around the point Idun had struck with her axe. Annika grimaced, but kept up her attack.

The locker room was not large, and there were but two entrances. One smaller door led to the dorm, where at least over fifty beds stood in rows. The other door was larger, over two metres in height and very wide. Both doors were closed at the moment, but the steel door in particular seemed like it only opened when it wanted to open. There were a few TVs scattered around the locker room, allowing those there to view the battle currently in the arena.

EMily was the first to speak up to Beth. She waved.
"Hello there. Might I ask what this place is?"

Gwen and the other two eyed one of the TVs broadcasting the match that was happening.
<color=purple>"Hmmmm...."

OOC: @Gear. You might also have to describe Beth again, as she is a new character for me.

Seeing Annika raise her hand towards her, Idun raised her shield to better cover her torso, not sure what would come, but cautious, just in case. Seeing the flames, Idun noted that it came from Annika herself, not the flame spirit, which made her wonder the spirits were even capable of acting on their own while bound to Annika.

The flames hitting the shield, sunlight flooded from it for as long as the fire made contact with it, and as the brightness of the light was blinding when just a flash, in a continued beam, Annika would risk permanently damaging her eyes quickly by looking at it without covering her eyes.

Not wanting to give Annika the time to fine-tune her aim, Idun charged at her, and when near enough, would thrust the front of her shield at Annika. If Annkika was at an angle where she could be thrown off the cliff, Idun would limit the force she put into the thrust to about the force of a heavyweight boxer throwing a hard punch, if not, it would be more like a heavyweight boxer putting their all into a blow.

When the flames hitting the shield caused a burst of light, Annika quickly stopped her attack. She managed to register that Idun was charging, and began channeling the ring-spirit into her hands and feet again. Before Annika lowered her body and raised her hands, she tossed the bear up and over Idun.

As Annika could, potentially, be knocked off the cliff, Idun's lessened blow would be easier for Annika to handle. Annika would dig her heels into the ground to prevent herself from being knocked off balance, and try to grab the edges of the shield with her hands.

Beth looked over at Emily. "Some kinda fight club, I think. You don't have to worry about cleaning up after anyone if that's what you're here for."

OoC: @Slenn: Average height and build, fair skin, blue eyes, red hair. Wearing a shirt and overalls with the sleeves rolled up, made of futuristic plastic looking material and with Tron-style patterns. Toolbox at waist. Has ports embedded into arms.

EMily looked a little confused by Beth's reference to their former mode of work.
"W-we aren't... oh yes. The outfits confuse people sometimes. The outfits... well, let's just say for now that they're not what they appear to be."
She feels cybernetic. I can feel EM fields from some of her electronics.

<color=brown>"So is this a sparring thing? Or is this more death battle? It looks pretty intense from the look of what's appearing on the screens here." Sara pointed at the one she was viewing.

"May I ask who are you?"
