Junkil closed his eyes and reached out, manipulating the air above the surface. A small tornado, only two metres tall and equally wide, formed just above the water. After another moment or two it formed into a sphere two metres in diameter, which then dropped down into the water. It kicked up a lot of foam as it travelled down towards Junkil.

[color=cc3300]"Yeah. It's easier when they're... not really human any more."[/color] Kirstin said, shuddering slightly. As she looked around the locker room, her eyes settled on Jinzi and the Mason sisters. The maid dresses confused Kirstin, but when she saw the dragonfly-lady, she freaked out and reached for her sword.

Meanwhile, Annika had returned to the dorms and laid down on her bed.

Not having any way to really react to a tiny tornado suddenly turning into a ball and flying into the sea, Victoria just kinda kept swimming around for the time being.

The ball of air reached Junkil right as the edge of his vision were fading into darkness. When it descended onto him however, it brought fresh air from the surface. He gasped, and then coughed, holding his hands up as he strained to maintain the sphere. With this reprieve, he began to plan what to do next.

Seeing that Junkil had used whatever had just happened to prolong the fight, Victoria groaned to herself. Screw this noise, I'll just go kill him... Her spear reappeared in her hand and she began the arduous swim downwards that would take a while.

Lucina nodded in agreement, thinking of the Risen she'd had to put down, then noticed Kirstin drawing her blade. She put a hand on her wrist, trying to stop her. "Calm down." She looked over to the dragonfly girl. "Readying your blade for her? She doesn't seem hostile."

 

[Demonjazz]

Apollo had went over to Lucina, and Kirstin. "Calm down soldier. No need to worry about people here. We are all metaphorically friends here."

Kirstin wheeled around to look at Apollo and Lucina, not lowering her sword. [color=cc3300]"She's armed, and a monster. She might not be outwardly hostile yet, but I don't take chances."[/color] Kirstin hissed, a slightly frightened look in her eyes.

"Doesn't look like any demon, I've seen before. Probably just one of those freaky aliens.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Looks like a taugel... albeit an insectoid one. I didn't know they existed."

[color=cc3300]"I didn't think insect monsters existed, either. But apparently, they do."[/color] Kirstin said to Lucina.

"Taugel are not monsters. They can change between human and animal. The only one I've ever seen before was a rabbit."

"Honestly, as long as they aren't demons it doesn't really matter. Shape shifter, monster, alien, whatever."

"Only some, and they were hunted to near extinction even before the world ended."

Kirstin looked even more confused by this latest statement. [color=cc3300]"You had magic before Year 0?"[/color] she asked.

"It's existed as long as the world has."

"Wait? When the hell did the world end? I remember a world that was distinctly existing for most of the time I was alive, and I sure as hell don't remember history books saying that the entire universe ceased to exist.

Kirstin looked at Apollo, then Lucina, then sheathed her sword. [color=cc3300]"I'm really confused."[/color]
