"Well," Idun began as she stood up, turning to her locker. "If you big on fighting, you're probably going to have a good time, here." she finished, then paused as she collected her bracers from her locker, and thought how long one having a good time in the arena would last.

While Timea was no longer by Kagura's side by the time she woke up, she was still in the dorm, and it wouldn't take too long for Kagura to spot her.

Catching herself going on a tangent, Timea blew a bitter sigh. "Whatever the case, I want you dead."

Annika, who was visibly in her early 20s, stared into Kagura's eyes, obviously not understanding a word she had said. After Victoria turned to leave for the arena, Idun laid down one of her bracers, and worked on putting the one she still held on, then worked on putting on the other one. After the odd 90 seconds it took her to put the bracers on, Idun adjusted the thick gloves she wore, while idly glancing at the other people that entered locker room.
Rolling her shoulders once, Idun left the locker room, and entered the arena Victoria was in. Once Idun entered, the bulkheads slid shut, and the arena turned into a sand lot, inside a traditional dojo.
Idun glanced around as the arena changed, approaching Victoria. "Good luck." she said with a small smile, holding out her arm towards Victoria, fist closed, expecting to knuckle tap before the two would start fighting. Standing in front of Victoria, Idun needed to look up to meet her eyes, being significantly shorter, at 1.64m/5'4ft.

"Good luck." she said with a small smile, holding out her arm towards Victoria, fist closed, expecting to knuckle tap before the two would start fighting. Standing in front of Victoria, Idun needed to look up to meet her eyes, being significantly shorter, at 1.64m/5'4ft.
Not understanding what Idun was going for in holding out her fist, Victoria just stared for a moment before awkwardly placing her right hand on top of Idun's while balled into a fist.

Idun thought as Victoria placed her hand on top of Idun's fist. Lowering her hand, Idun took a small step, and spread out her weight, raising her fists into a boxing stance. "Grappling isn't my strong suit, but eh, I'll take the pin option. Let's say, after five seconds of being pinned, it's a loss." she stated, hopping from one foot onto the other slightly. "And without further ado... ."
Taking a quick step forward, Idun feigned a straight jab at Victoria's stomach with her left hand, then pulled back, while swinging a hook at her right oblique with her right hand.

"Works for me."Victoria lowered her arms to block Idun's jab, being fooled by her feint and taking the hook to her side. Her eye twitched in pain, but she pressed forward, stepping towards Idun. She made two quick right jabs at Idun's head, neither carrying much in the way of power, then stepped in again and swung with her own left body-aimed hook, pulling it enough to keep from being dangerous, but still carrying enough power to make Idun regret it if she got hit.
Being more out to feel out how Victoria fought rather then going heavy on the offensive, Idun took a step back after landing the blow, noting her opponent's taking the blow. Expecting retaliation after the attack, Idun was able to block the blows aimed at her head, doing so with an open palm against the jab swung by Victoria with her organic hand, and doing so by slamming her bracered forearm against Victoria's metal forearm.
She was too slow in moving to block Victoria's third blow, wincing as she took it. While painful, her strong constitution allowed her to take the single hit without being slowed down much.

Unable to put up the resistance to keep herself upright with her footing the way they were, Idun did the next best thing, and moved her left arm so her hand was closer to her torso. Placing the hand on Victoria's knee, Idun managed to slow down the blow, migating the damage.

Victoria managed to maintain her balance by keeping a grip on Idun's shoulder as she tried to throw her up. Wanting to take advantage of the position, she brought her right elbow down on Idun's back to strike, hoping the blow would make Idun let go of her leg.
If her strategy had worked, Victoria would follow it up by wrapping her right arm around Idun's head and grabbing hold of her pants, preferably by the belt, then attempt to lift her up and fall backwards to slam Idun against the ground in a suplex.

Victoria's plan worked rather well. When the elbow was brought down on her back, Idun let out a grunt, and buckled through her knees. While she managed to remain standing, this didn't matter, as Victoria put Idun in a headlock, and grabbed hold of the pants. While Idun didn't wear a belt, grabbing would of the waistband worked well enough.
Idun was quite heavy for someone as short as she; weighing 82kg/180Ibs. If Victoria could lift that weigh overhead as she intended, Idun would slam down, letting out a gasp as the hard landing winded her.
If Victoria failed to lift Idun, Idun would retaliate by swinging as many punches as she was able at Victoria's left oblique and serratus.

Figuring it too early in the fight to attempt a serious pin, Victoria elected to hop into the air and attempt a minor elbow drop with her right arm aimed at Idun's gut.
