I would actually suggest looking on some of the Specialist Chapters of Space Marines:
Blood Angles, Space Wolves, Dark Angles, Black Templar's or Gray Knights.

These are generally viewed as better than the normal Space Marine Codex (also known as Vanilla Marines)

Each of the Specialist chapters have their pros and cons so they might not be as easy to pick up at first, but their play styles are very forgiving.

The specialist marines are good, however don't discount the vanilla marines. Being generalists is a great way to survive the version change and adapt to new strategies.
