This is a thread looking to see if anyone would be interested in this kind of thing. You would each play as one of the Eldar Aspect Exarchs, sent behind enemy lines to disrupt supply lines, kill key individuals, etc. Below is a basic outline of the Exarchs. If you want to know more you'll have to do a bit of research yourselves. You can reserve one of them if you want and you'll be PM'd if I start it.
I'll be your Farseer/Warlock transmitting orders to you psychically.

Dire Avenger- short-to-midrange shooter, pretty powerful gun. Not much of a CC guy

Striking Scorpions - heavily armored, CC guy, not the fastest, but the best all-around hand to hand

Dark Reapers - Long range fire support, heavy weapons, heavy armor, slow, but powerful

Howling Banshees - the other hand to hand fighter here, faster, stronger weapons, lighter armor, DPS essentially.

Fire Dragons - Heavy armor, close range fusion gun, tank buster.

Swooping Hawks - light armor, most maneuverable guy here, mid range rifle, close range grenade bombing.

Warp Spiders - heavy armor, short teleport jumps, close range eviserator/monofilament net.

Shining Spears - jetbike knight more or less. able to zoom around a field with little ability to be caught. Going to need a little extra to allow this guy in. PM a little story about the character if you want to reserve it, multiple submissions will be graded. no more than a paragraph or two though.

Pathfinder - Although not an Exarch or even an Aspect Warrior, this is an elite sniper, really no armor to speak of, but able to utilize the field to their advantage.

Name: Guess what goes here
Gender: Male or Female please, no hermaphrodites
Class/Aspect Warrior:
Special skills: dodge, superior shot, cover master, spot, the kind of thing I'll require a roll on, few things like that though, one +2, one +5.

More than anything I'm looking to see if there's any interest in this at all or if I should just can it.

This seems interesting. I wouldn't mind doing it, but I have a couple questions, 1. Would this rp be like a mission-based rp where we do one mission, take a break, then do another? 2. Would you be taking part in the mission/missions?

I suppose it would be mission, break, mission, break. More than anything I'd just be the voice in your head. If it keeps going I might eventually go in with you. Not sure yet. Most of this depends on if this is noticed by enough people.

What craftworld would it be? I'm not the biggest fan of Eldar, but reading the path of the seer, and the path of the warrior was fun.

How much will this RP come down to numbers? Just wondering...

In other news, I'd like to reserve a Dark Reaper Exarch...

Wouldn't be so much Craftworld as you're just Exarchs, doesn't exactly matter where you're from, you're a living incarnation of your Aspect. Who cares, you kill things, If you want to be from a specific Craftworld, it's not going to be that important than where you got pulled from. Unless you really want to play it that way. If you want to keep your Craftworld as a big part of your character you might want to be the Pathfinder.

Very little in terms of numbers, a few rolls now and then, I'll tell you of the modifiers and die type when it comes to it. Almost all of it will be player driven, I'll more or less just be throwing hordes or Tyranids, Orks, and Spehhs Marhinnes, or the like. You deal with them in your own manner, special circumstances will require rolls, such as exceptionally hard shots, bosses, you know, your basic nightmares.

Looks interesting. But how are you going to handle the equipment for each Exarch? The Fire Dragon Exarch can choose between carrying a Fusion gun, Fire Pike and the Dragon Breath Flamer. Do we to chose one the weapons to use?

In other news, I'd like to reserve a Fire Dragon Exarch.

Yeah, you get to choose exactly how you're equipped. In special circumstances, I may dictate exactly what you can bring. But in general, you get to pick how you're equipped, and you can't take a FP, fusion gun and DB all at the same time if that's what you're asking or if anyone is thinking it.

So if I am reading this right, we get to chose for each mission what weapon we take with us and on certain mission there are restrictions what weapons we get to bring with us.
So you tell us what the mission is, what me might encounter and then we get to chose our wargear?

That is if you get to go back to your ship or get to a base somewhere. If you screw up you may have to stay planetside a bit longer and use what you can find to survive. But normally, yes. You all may want to pick some weapon you specialize in, so you'll get extra things if you have to roll, but yeah, that's it.

Yeah, a cut down, you get two traits, one a +5, the other a +2, you've got to choose. I'll take the Nerves of Steel thing as being able to keep firing under bombardment and the like, and your Eagle Eye as shooting at far-off targets. I can't think of anything Without Mercy would count as, if you can, put it up, and decide what your traits mean and put it up with the trait in parenthesis along with which '+' you want to have it with. I know I may or may not be making sense, but ask me if I'm not and I'll try to clarify it.

Eh, Without Mercy was more a notable feature than a skill. Traits are now duly edited in the original sheet...
