Warhammer 40k: Space Wolf revealed

Now that Space Hulk has been released and Warhammer 40k: Armaggedon and Eternal Crusade are in development Games Workshop are licensing 40k to another developer.

This time the IP is being given to the company Herocraft, a Russia based company who mostly develop mobile games. Warhammer 40k: Space Wolf is going to be a collectible card game that is being developed for both the PC and iOS.

So they're making a game about the Space Wolves, the boisterous space vikings that love charging headlong into the fray with superpowered axes and chainswords made with the teeth of a kraken, and who may occasionally turn into a werewolf.

And they're turning it into a ccg? Not an over-the-top brawler loaded with ultra-violence [footnote]You know, like they already did with Warhammer 40K: Space Marine. They could've made it as a sequel of sorts[/footnote]

I'm calling a missed opportunity.
