I wonder how many gold sellers were counted in that 10million number WoW was boasting? Considering WAR has been out for 3 weeks and has racked up 10k gold spammers?

WoW is only a pve game, at PvE it is the best. WAR is a PvP game, at PvP it is the best. I guess we will see how the best game of the year goes... but I bet it isnt WoTLK.

How exactly is WoW not a PvP game? Last time I checked, I could go and kill any Alliance players I saw.

Not a PvP game in that the system is a joke, with the last bout of effort towards the excelling of it was the introduction of small 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 skirmishes in Arenas. Before that, they put up objectives with negligible bonuses up around what was then high-level content zones, and really, their battlegrounds are simple: capture the flag, territory control, and kill big-balled boss "X" (or, in more typical cases, grind eachother to a halt until the killboard burns out and finally quits the damned thing). Other than ganking like a twat and, the more you do it, the bigger guns you are given to complete such a task basically the little encouragement there is, that is the WHOLE World of Warcraft player versus player experience.

Admittedly I've been away from WoW for the last few months, but last time I checked Alterac Valley games (in the EU at least) were more like races then grindfests in the valley in the centre. Of the 40 players on each team, maybe five, ten if you're lucky, would defend during the game. The other 30-35 would constantly be pushing towers and bunkers because they give the quickest honour. I've seen one pickup game (complete randomers from every server in my battlegroup) last less than 18 minutes it was done that quickly. The Horde just completely ignored our attack and we strolled through entirely unopposed, meaning the battleground ended quickly. "Grind"? Hardly.

I only play WoW so this may be a little biased but I think this year Wrath is gonna take the cake in sales and subscriptions
