I'm just assuming that, since most of their budget wasn't spent on making the game graphically superior, they will have concentrated on the gameplay instead. For all I know, the game will be total crap, but it's nice to see that they aren't putting the graphics first.

I completely agree with how promising the 15 gig requirement is for hard drive space. If these are fairly low min specs (I wouldn't know I don't delve into the actual workings of my computer that much), then they must have metaphorical dump truck loads of content.

What the hell are they planning to do with those 15 gigs after they cut 65% of the game's landmass and some of the classes? Or are they going to ship a 5 gig game and expect to add those other 10 gig with expansions?

They may have 'front loaded' the minimum specs like that, which wouldn't shock me as they could still consider the 65% landmass as part of the game, regardless of if it's released later. I mean, people would BMW up the wall if they felt misdirected on how much space was needed for the content they had planned.

I haven't seen a graphics card that doesn't support Pixel Shader 2.0 in a long time. These days, if it's anything above a low/medium end card, it'll support DirectX 10, but almost any card supports DirectX 9/Pixel Shader 2.0.

The thing is, these are the minimum specs of the game. There is nothing to suggest they haven't filled ten of that fifteen gigs with stupidly high-end graphics, its simply saying that those settings will run the game at average or low quality at an average framerate.

That is how I see it anyway.

My old FX5200 had Pixel Shader 2. These days its hard to find a budget card that doesn't have pixel shader 3. Pretty much every card in the last 3 years has had PS2...
