I've been following this game's development since it was first released. After producing the excellent Dawn of War games, Relic has shown that they understand the Warhammer 40,000 setting. It looks like the Space Marines are finally going to be depicted as the nearly-unstoppable killing machines that the books have always made them out to be.
An action RPG by relic... this should be worth a laugh, they've only ever made RTS games. I hope for the best but fear for the worst.
Necrons - Our might shall crush them, even if it takes several times to finish it.
Tyranids - We will burn our worlds, and starve them, for the souls sacrificed are better burned faithful than devoured.
Eldar - A dying race who had their chance...and we can break their necks with our thumbs.

I am looking forward to this game a lot, thank you very much! Hopefully it'll be the first proper action game in this amazing universe.
As for factions, Blood Angels rule supreme!
P.S.- Had a tournament yesterday at our local store. Did pretty good, but got my win taken away from me by those nasty, disgusting Death Guard fellows. Still, I won the El Matador trophy for most enemy points killed, so I'm happy!

Edit: Urgh.. I just looked, they're building this for the console platform with a strong multiplayer element.... mark my words, it will suck bad.

its probably just gonna have sm and orks in it altho they havent really shown any of the multi player so who knows what thats gonna be like, I heard they wanted to release it in march of next year but they havent announced a final release date, oh and they pretty much got rid of the rpg parts, you will gain skill with weapons but no more trees and shit for them and it will be coming out for the pc also
