The costume could've been worse. At least they didn't go with a Guy Gardner turtleneck & sleeveless leather jacket combo.

Yes, all hell would break loose if we had to push back Green Lantern's cross-franchise Burger King collectible card game expanded universe prequel ARG. Probably it would signal the collapse of the global economy and herald a terrifying new era of brutal, senseless anarchy, in which man must face man in single combat, for the hedonistic entertainment of strange, feudal lords.
I'm glad I didn't have to go to the effort of saying all that, it's good to know everyone is on the same page.

I get the "uniform" is generated by the ring, but do they have to make it look like he's naked? That looks less like a superhero prepared to go into battle and more like he's one of those models with designs painted on them.

I still don't see any white gloves. Why am I not seeing white gloves?
I'm right there with ya. Then again I'm still blinking at the feet. I don't get how having a costume that looks like the one the ring makes in the comics would be bad for the visual effects?

I'm not a visual effects afficianado though so I will be happy just a long as the story is good.

Yet my god it's still so weird to see Hal's toes......

What? You don't think Brian Bosworth deserves his own movie? I felt that way myself back when I didn't think he deserved his own super hero....

Worst idea ever DC!! (looks back at the last 20 years in comics/modern mythology) Hokay maybe not.....

This is nothing new. As I recall, both of the recent CGI heavy Hulk movies were having major (at least in terms of budget) overhauls to their look this late in their production. Whether those overhauls were successful and money well spent is a separate debate. But the fact remains, this is not that unusual for a movie of this type.

Call me a comic nerd, but I'm hoping some of this latest $9 million is being spent on making the gloves white and smoothing out the fronts of his feet to hide the toes. Edginess and innovation is one thing, but there's a reason Hal wears basically the same costume that was created 50 years ago.
